Hosny did a great job of explaining Egypt history timeline without getting overly detailed. He was helpful in going where our interests were. It would have been better if he took us through the mummy section but guides aren't allowed? He also took us to a spice shop which was interesting but I think we over paid for what we bought.

We wanted to make the most of our time in Cairo and Hosni was the perfect person for this. After spending the previous day with him exploring Coptic Cairo, we spent the morning at the Egyptian Civilisation Museum. Hosni is a fabulous guide and he makes the history exciting and makes it come alive. It is clear that he has a deep passion for history, Egyptology and instils this so naturally in those he looks after. You come away fascinated, and though there is so much history to be told, you still crave more! He helped us look around the key highlights and was always very flexible and happy to help. His kindness and personality made it feel like going around with friends or family. He will definitely look after you and allow you to explore the city with ease. Hosni was such a great tour guide, this tour needed to be bespoke as we had a flight in the afternoon. We had a smooth pick up from our hotel and a great tour of the museum for a few hours - the museum doesn’t get as much press as the GEM but is fantastic and well worth it. Drop off at the airport was very smooth after. Thank you Hosni!!!

Hosni was our tour guide and he was terrific. Given how crazy it us to drive in Cairo, I have to say his driver was also a plus.
