Nia Balinese Cooking Class

Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. Jimmy, our cooking instructor, created such a fun day for us all. We couldn't recommend this cooking class enough. Jimmy is so funny, knowledgeable & a wonderful chef to learn from. We toured a local market and learned alot of the balinese culture, we also got to take home a balinese cook book! Such a sweet gift to bring back home some tasty recipes we made today as a group. Thank you again for a memorable experience! What a great use of our time visiting Bali!!!

What a great experience. We went shopping in an authentic Balinese market to learn about the ingredients and then back to the kitchen to cook. We made many great dishes and left with a cookbook. The staff were so knowledgeable and helpful and the food was outstanding!

Sensational time. It started in the market where our Chef taught us about the spices about to be used, and the food we created was awesome. Come hungry and you won’t be disappointed. Block off a few hours

Amazing experience. The staff were so lovely and made the day so much fun. And the food .... omg... if you are thinking o doing a cooking class...this is the one to do! ....hint... dont eat breakfast!

We got picked up from our hotel and taken to the meeting point at the market. It was interesting learning about the different ingredients and also the daily offerings you see everywhere. Chef Jim was entertaining and funny. We made a number of dishes (7?) that we then ate for lunch. There were plenty of opportunities to learn and get involved. The ingredients were portioned out but we still needed to do the chopping, preparation and some of the cooking. We (myself, husband and 15yo daughter) thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend the experience to others.

It was an amazing experience and definitely worth more than what you pay. I would highly recommend it if you’re a foodie — and even if you’re not. It was easy to follow without being dumbed down, and everything was absolutely delicious.

The chef/cook was very knowledgeable. They took us to the markets, showed us how to make different dishes. A really unique experience for you and your partner or even with family or friends. Make sure you come here with an empty stomach because there's a lot to eat. Highly recommended!

This is definitely an experience to do whilst in Bali. From the start going to the local market to learn the flavors and then going back and cooking was amazing. The chef was great and the team helped us where needed, then the best part you eat what you have made super delicious 😋

Shared the experience with my Mum, Son and his partner. The 4 of us were picked up at our hotel and headed off to join 8 others before going to the local market. Here our guide explained some of the ingredients we would be using in the cooking and also some local knowledge of how the markets worked etc. We then were ferried in cars to the restaurant where we cooked about 10 dishes before enjoying lunch. Very enjoyable experience and well run.
