Wonderful experience for a first or second day in Mexico City. You get to explore so much of the city on a bike. Be aware there are no helmets and you will be cycling fast! It does take close to 3 hours but totally worth it.
Spent time waiting at the spot, but tour guy didn’t show up and texted in the chat, no responses. This is a scam!!
Highly recommend! We had a great time on this bike tour, led by Eduardo. A great way to acclimate to CDMX in a new and fun way, covering lots of ground in a three hour exploration of the city. We biked down La Reforma, then headed into Roma Norte with the ultimate destination of the Zocalo. Seeing the Zocalo at night was magnificent – we were surprised by how it transforms after dark, and thrilled that all the people just go away! Eduardo was amazing and truly made the experience special with the information he shared, the questions he answered, and his genuine, inviting personality making us feel like we were familia. A great taco stop at Las Rejas was also included! We felt safe throughout the evening, and the route was flat without too much traffic.
The guide Alberto really showed knowledge and passion for the topics in the tour. We had wide-ranging conversations about Mexican history, Mexico city and various places around town. Very informative and helpful to understand the place and people better. We got to see a lot of key monuments. The bikes, however, should be upgraded. They should either have 3 speeds, lower gear ratio or electric assist. We stopped and started a lot, and starting off is hard with a single gear, intended for cruising. Also, since it is a night tour, there should be real lights, front and back, and reflectors in spokes to make us visible when we are crossing streets.
We're very happy that you liked the tour with Alberto. We're very sorry that you have not requested another bicycle, we have 7 speeds and scooters! This tour is on flat terrain, in the 8 years that we have been in service we've not seen the need to have electric bikes, normally our visitors are bikers with experience in ride a bike and love doing it.
Wonderful experience felt very catered to me and what I wanted to see. I learned so much about Mexico City and its history very enjoyable. Tacos were absolutely fabulous.
It was a great experience. The tour is in Spanish and Ivan did well in explaining history and I loved going through the Chapultepec park in bike. It was empty but interesting as it is very big. I forgot to input it on my Strava app but it is approximately 10 miles in steady pace which took about 3 hours. He did great in taking a few pics.
The tour was a great way to see diverse aspects of the the inner city, and the biking itself wasn't too difficult. We stopped at a taco truck that had the best street tacos I've ever tasted, full stop. Iván was a fantastic, knowledgeable tour guide
Thank you for trusting us and for choosing our services!!
THIS is a fabulous 3 HOUR tour of the main tourist attractions in CDMX at night, PLUS street food! (1 stop) Cesar Ivan, my guide, was wonderful. I was lucky enough to have him solo since no others booked my night. Hooray! His English is great and he has the most interesting facts about all the attractions we went past. He even helped teach me a lot of Spanish terms. So grateful for him!! He made sure I was next to or behind him at all times. Plus he gave me a bottle of water for my basket. I felt very safe the entire night. The highlight was being allowed into Chapultepec Park after it closed. Just us and a few vendors packing up in the dark. Sooo cool, but be warned it doesn’t always happen. Just if the guards are feeling “nice.” Which, luckily mine were. The one stop for street tacos was perfect. (And included!) The Al Pastor with sliced pork and pineapple were good. The vendor even spoke English which was a nice touch. Believe me you don’t need to be a pro biker but this tour is long and there are a couple of inclines so keep that in mind. It is located to the right of the Subway (sandwich shop) and has no signage. If you are early the black gate may be down covering the bike shop so just wait near Subway and someone will come. Book this tour asap! I hope you get Cesar Ivan.
Your support means a lot to us! thanks! :)
The tour was so much fun. Ivan, the tour guide was so nice and funny and knew the city well. We tour the city and stopped at famous monuments. This was a fun tour one I highly recommend (ask for Ivan).
