4:30 am - 5:00 am - Pick-up at your hotel or Airbnb in Mexico City. After picking up all travelers, we will travel to Teotihuacan.
6:00 AM - Check-in: All travelers will be asked for identification (ID), their weight will be taken, and you will be assigned the balloon in which you will fly. 6:10-6:30 AM - Coffee Break: You will have time to enjoy coffee, cookies, and receive safety instructions. 6:30-6:45 AM - Time to take photographs while enjoying the spectacle of the hot air balloon inflation process. 6:50 AM - Your magical hot air balloon flight over the Teotihuacan Valley will begin. The flight duration is 30 to 40 minutes, depending on weather conditions. 7:50 AM - Upon landing, we will have a toast, a tradition when flying in a balloon, and you will receive a flight certificate as a souvenir. (Landing may take place on various types of terrain, including vegetation, trees, and confined spaces, always accompanied by expert pilots and properly trained support personnel to ensure a safe landing.) After landing, we will be back to reception.
8:50am - We'll head to one of the most impressive restaurants in the Teotihuacan Valley for breakfast. You'll be inside a natural cave with a spectacular view. A truly divine experience.
9:45am - We will visit an artisan cooperative where we will receive an explanation about the culture of Teotihuacan, the uses of the maguey plant, you will learn about obsidian and have tastings of artisanal liquors made in the region.
10:30 am - We will visit the Teotihuacan Archaeological Zone. You will spend 1.5 to 2 hours here, depending on the group's decision. (Entrance to the archaeological zone is NOT INCLUDED) You have two options for visiting the archaeological zone: 1. Visit the site on your own. We will inform you of the pick-up time and location. 2. Enhance your experience with a certified guide who will explain the history of Teotihuacan in detail. This service is NOT included and has an additional cost of $300 MXN (16 USD) per person. Afterward, the entire group will meet to return to Mexico City.
Between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM, we will be arriving at your hotel in Mexico City. IMPORTANT NOTES: - Times are approximate and may change depending on traffic, weather, and the day's logistics. - If you wish to end the experience before the last stop, you will need to arrange your own return to Mexico City, as this is a shared tour. - Please be aware that the balloon flight depends on weather conditions, and therefore the direction will depend on the wind. We cannot guarantee flying over the pyramids. However, we fly over them 90% of the time. - A guide at the Teotihuacan archaeological site is not included. This is an additional service. - La Cueva restaurant has specific opening hours (8:30 AM), so we may have to wait up to 40 minutes for it to open. To avoid this wait time, there may be modifications to the itinerary to ensure a smoother tour.

This experience was so fun, the balloons felt very safe. The landing was perfect. The only downside, if you don’t do the pyramids, you still have to wait for other people to explore before they take you back to town.

The hot air balloon ride was amazing. We went directly over the pyramids and our captain Ernesto was a pro with a perfect landing. We stopped for breakfast and a shop. We loved visiting the pyramids afterwards but we only had a little over an hour to walk around the sites. I would’ve preferred to skip the shopping and go straight to the pyramids after breakfast. The staff and Mario our driver all were great and made us feel welcomed. I would recommend this tour company to friends and family. Thank you

This was one of the highlights of my trip to Mexico City! Seeing the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon from a hot air balloon was absolutely breathtaking. The view of the entire Teotihuacán Valley from above was incredible, especially during sunrise.

The balloon ride was wonderful! The whole experience was very organized and we were never left bored or waiting. It was well worth the value. However, the meal in the cave is NOT at La Gruta (famous underground cave advertised on insta/fb), it’s another cave, and the food was not great. The stop at the “cultural center” before the pyramids could have easily been skipped. It was full of pushy vendors trying to sell stuff, and there was no history given on the pyramids. There was a bit of history on obsidian stones and pulque drinks, but more time given for souvenirs shopping that we didn’t care for. The guide, Gala, was fabulous and cared a lot about each of us ensuring we were hydrated and feeling well. We only wish there was a tour offering balloons and pyramid, no breakfast or tourist trap shopping.

Great tour, so many tours to choose from and I’m glad I went with this one. Gala was kind and cared about the groups well being. All day excursion with a VERY early start time, but once you get through that part, it’s great!
