This tour company was amazing! Our guide greeted us with frozen washcloths and bottled water on a VERY hot day in Washington. I loved being able to skip the line! Our guide, Skye, was also very knowledgeable on all the history regarding the documents and paintings. She was also very helpful and knowledgeable with the other items available in the museum. Would 100% recommend and use this company again.
Debbie, it was great having you! Please get in touch if you find yourself in DC again, I'd love to tour with you! -Skye
What a great experience we had with Rett, our tour guide. He was entertaining, very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting history with our group. It was worth the extra money being able to skip the very long lines and to get in as well as view the documents. It is a definite must do!
This was not a no wait small group tour. You skipped the main line but you waited to go in and once in the tour guide brought you to the room where the documents were then said he would meet you later. You had to push your way up to see the documents. THen when were were finished looking at the documents to tour guide was gone. We could not find him anywhere. Not worth the money.
Thanks for your feedback. You joined us on July 3 and the National Archives hit capacity multiple times throughout the day. We did skip the 2 hour long line to enter, but did have a brief wait while the Archives was at capacity. Then we skipped the second line to the historic documents in the Rotunda, and gave everyone a moment to see the documents before the remaining of the tour.
Our tour guide, Rett, was amazing! He knew so much about our history and answered our questions well. He was very pleasant, also!
Fantastic & informative! Our tour guide, Rett, was great. Loved getting to bypass the lines. Highly recommend!
Liam told me much about the history behind the declaration of independence and the constitution. Also, he told me information about the judicial branch and how the supreme court judges look at cases from a traditional standpoint and from a standpoint as to how things are current day. Also, he told me that Thomas Jefferson was an inventor on some things just like Ben Franklin.
very informative tour. I would recommend. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. group was kept together
Great tour. Rett and Liam went the extra mile to make our tour memorable for our large group. From skipping the lines to bringing us extra waters to inviting us to their offices afterwards for a little happy hour. We learned a lot at the National Archives Museum and were well taken care of. Highly recommended.
Meeting at the tour center was easy! Great spot to gather. Quick walk to the archives! Rhett was our tour guide and was so knowledgeable!! He answered our questions and knew so much about each spot! Perfect amount of time and well spent!
Excellent guide. Maybe increase from 60 to 90 minutes to cover more artifacts.
