Come experience the darker side of Salem on our night-time walking tour of Salem. We retell the most spine-chilling true crime tales of murder, mystery and macabre. Why did an insane woman in the early 1600s murder her child? Who was the famous hitman who murdered the slave trader in his sleep? Did the Boston Strangler really make a visit to Salem? These historical tales and much more will unfold on this whirlwind tour of this mysterious seaside city. This is the perfect tour for true crime fans and those who love a good scandalous story! Attention: Adult Mature content including descriptive graphic murders, sexual assault and torture. This tour is not appropriate for children under 13!! Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a paid Adult, with ticket. Younger children/chaperone will be asked to leave or transfer to a different tour (if space allows). Tours run RAIN or SHINE. We do NOT cancel for weather. No refunds in October. ***Please note, we book up to 40 people per tour.

Come experience the darker side of Salem on our guided night-time walking tour of Salem. We retell the most spine-chilling tales of murder, mystery and macabre. Why did an insane woman in the early 1600s murder her child? Who was the famous hitman who murdered the slave trader in his sleep? Did the Boston Strangler really make a visit to Salem? These tales and much more will unfold on this whirlwind one-hour tour of this mysterious seaside city. Not for the faint of heart. Suitable for adults and young adults, not recommended for younger children. Tours run rain or shine and last approximately 120 minutes.
Walk the cobblestoned streets in the heart of Salem
We bring you to the gate of the cemetery. We do not enter the cemetery. Cemetery is closed after dusk.
We tell the spine chilling story that once happened here. Outside activity.
The guide will share a few facts about the church as we pass by.
We share the haunted stories that occurred within the walls of this house. Outdoor activity only.
We pass by the Bewitched Statue for a photo opportunity.

- Wheelchairs and scooters are welcome, however, be aware that salem has brick sidewalks, uneven surfaces and narrow areas. Visitors assume all responsibility with wheelchairs and wCWt will not be held liable.

- We do not enter any buildings or cemeteries on this tour, this is an outdoor activity only.

Did the 9:15pm tour on a Saturday night. Got to learn not only about the gruesome past, but also learned the history of places that you walk by normally and not think there was a story to them. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the past and recent history and she was very friendly.

Our guide, Topher, came in with great energy despite the contents of the tour (as he put it, the "dark side" of Salem). If you're into true crime, this is the perfect tour, and it will serve as a break from the usual Witch Trials History. Informative, with both historical and modern stories, Topher was able to deliver with compassion, respect, intensity, and even comedy. I believe he was able to do victims justice by giving them a voice for their stories. This tour was a great reminder of why Salem brings awareness to the victims of the witch trials, so that we may have kindness and love for each other in the future.

Bobby Kerrigan was great. The perfect mix of informative, interesting and funny. He did a great of tying the location to the lore of Salem.

I booked this tour because it seemed interesting and I was not disappointed. Walked through various locales in Salem with our tour guide Danielle and learned many interesting and disturbing facts. Danielle kept everything very fun and has a wonderful flair for the dramatic. Another person on our tour fell ill and Danielle was on the ball calling 911 immediately and remaining very calm and in control. Even with this little incident we were able to complete the tour in a timely fashion and take lots of pictures. Definitely a lot of walking so wear comfy shoes! Highly recommend!

Our tour guide (Samantha) was amazing! Very knowledgeable and factual! She had photos to share of the locations we stopped at & the images of ghosts/people, whatever you would call them. If you want a believable experience, this is definitely the tour & the guide!

As part of our return to Salem, we decided to do another Ghost of Salem tour for the evening. We were looking for something different than from 10 years ago because felt that tour was just, ho - hum. Samantha Page, our tour guide was FANTASTIC!!! We loved hearing her personal story; Samantha's journey and experiences in the realm of the paranormal lended itself well to the tour. The stories and information seemed to be told from a perspective from one who clearly is a historian and loves to share her enthusiasm for this type of historical information. So many times, guided tours feel so "scripted" in their presentation. If we are able to visit Salem sooner than 10 years, we hope to go on another one of Samantha's tours or at the very least from this company. Thank you, Samantha!
