***Please read the entire description before purchasing. 3 mile Walk and doesn’t end near start location *** Come celebrate Disney's blockbuster, Hocus Pocus! Starring Better Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy, Hocus Pocus has become one of the most beloved movies. The majority of the movie was filmed in Salem in 1993. We will take you to 5 of the locations used in the filming. Along the way, you will also hear about the Salem Witch Trials, the maritime history, how we became the "Witch City", and more! *There is a considerable amount of walking (~3 miles). This walk can be very strenuous and is not recommended for those with the following: back, knee, or hip problems, respiratory, circulatory, cardiac issues or recent surgeries. Pioneer Village is a $5 optional fee (Seasonal only) ****The tour ends in a different location than the start - please plan accordingly. Transportation will not be provided by WCWT.

Salem Common is a large common green space in central Salem.
One of the top sites in downtown Salem for Hocus Pocus movie fans.
Ropes Mansion would be recognized by Hocus Pocus enthusiasts as Alison's house from the movie.
We will visit one of the oldest cemeteries in the city
You will end the Hocus Pocus movie tour in Pioneer Village, the oldest living history museum in the United States. You will have time to stroll at your own pace and take photos. (Optional) entrance fee $5 per person if you choose to go inside. Weather permitting and may be closed depending on specific circumstances. Please arrange your own transportation back to downtown Salem via Uber/ Lyft if necessary. This tour ends here (which is not near the start location)

- Our Tours run rain or shine, we do not cancel for weather. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress accordingly..
- There is uneven terrain and parts are NOT wheelchair/scooter/stroller accessible. Please be prepared.
- Not for those with back, hip, neck, joint problems. Very fast tour and challenging terrain..
- By choosing to purchase a ticket, you and your ticketed guests will be agreeing to our liability waiver which includes a release of liability on our tours as well as a photo release.
- Dog friendly!
- We do not enter any buildings on this tour, this is an outdoor activity only.
- Tour group size may be up to 40 guests per group
- There are no public restrooms on the tour route. Please plan accordingly.
- Pioneer Village is not open on weekdays . So if you choose to book this tour on a weekday you will not gain entrance. Pioneer Village also closes during inclement weather due to muddy conditions..
- We cannot be held responsible if Pioneer Village is closed without notice.
- Pioneer Village (optional with $5 fee) is normally open June through October. Weekends only.

I went on the tour with my wife, who is a fan of the movie. The guide was very knowledgable and the pace of the tour did not feel rushed. I enjoyed the little know facts and trivia about the movie and also some of the local sites along the tour. The 2+ hours and 3+ miles went by quickly.

Violet was EXCELLENT! The tour wasn't just "in the movie this happened here." She talked about other things and sites of interest as we went. It was fun, informative, interesting and unique. I highly recommend it!

Our guide Violet was amazing and so knowledgeable of the movie Hocus Pocus, the sites and Salem history. It is a walking tour around 3 miles so wear comfortable shoes and bring water, we end the tour at a park where there are public restrooms. We took an uber back into the center of town which only cost us 4 dollars. We loved the tour and the experience. Thank you Violet.

This tour was great! As a lifelong Hocus Pocus fan, it was awesome seeing the places the movie was filmed in person. I learned a lot and had a ton of fun on the tour. Our guide Topher was super knowledgeable and engaging and made it an amazing experience, we cannot thank him enough! He also offered to take group pictures for people attending the tour together which was super nice. We did this tour and the History and Hauntings of Salem tour during our trip. If you are going to Salem, book your tours with Witch City Walking Tours, they are the best!

The heat and walk were a lot for the folks in our party with arthritis but the tour guide made it so worth it. He was awesome! The information was great and his energy was fantastic!

Michael was a fantastic guide! He was kind, friendly, super energetic and very, very knowledgeable. I am a longtime mega fan of the movie and still learned so much I didn’t know from him. We also learned a little bit about Salem in he and that was awesome. I will definately be booking another tour next time I am in Salem and would love to have Michael as our guide again!

There is a lot of walking on this tour with not many opportunities to sit down., or use the bathroom. However, Grace was a delightful and informative guide, and we enjoyed the Salem and Hocus Pocus sites.🎃🎃🎃
