Wonderfully informative and interesting tour with a guide!
Our tour of the Musée d’Orsay was excellent!! Our guide took us through the museum with great knowledge and enthusiasm, sharing a wealth of fascinating information about the artists, the paintings, and their historical context.
She made the artwork come alive with engaging explanations and insights we never would have discovered on our own. Thanks to her, our visit was far more meaningful and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Musée d’Orsay! We got so much more out of it than we would have with the audio guide! It’s the only way to go!
Operator response
It's such a joy for us to make the Orsay collections come alive for you in ways you'd never expect, as though you might walk right into the frame and order a glass of your usual at a favorite café, or ask Manet's Olympia what she's really thinking and get an answer. That is the power of a Memories tour, making it all come together and make sense! We loved having you, Sherri, and are so grateful that you took the time out to leave this glowing review- we'll be sending it on to your guide, Cécile, straightaway!

Exceptional museum, delicious lunch!
Our tour guide, Caroline, was excellent… informative, articulate and knowledgeable. The collection was exceptional, however, we were so disappointed to travel all the way from US and not see Van Goth’s Starry Night.
Operator response
Thank you for your review! We are very happy to read that you enjoyed your tour and the lunch in the beautiful restaurant. The Musée d'Orsay does loan out some of their works from time to time, and the Starry Night is one of those that is out at the moment. We hope that the other incredible works on show there made up for this, and that perhaps we will have the opportunity to take you again on future trips so that you can see it.

A wonderful impression
Want to see the impressionists? This guided tour was amazing. A very knowledgeable guild took us on a mini history tour of art. We took the optional meal after in a most elegant restaurant and authentic French cuisine. North American visitors should remember to order their meat dishes one greater than they normally like as medium will be very rare, but armed with that knowledge, enjoy!
Operator response
Many thanks for your review! We are very happy to read that you enjoyed both your tour and your lunch in the beautiful restaurant. We hope you had a wonderful stay in Paris and would be delighted to see you again!

Museum, Yes! Lunch, No.
The tour was superb! My advice - skip the lunch. The service is wonderful, but the food is lacking. Revisit the exhibits you'd like to see again and then exit the Museum for lunch.
Operator response
Thank you for your review, we are very happy you enjoyed your tour. We're sorry however that you didn't enjoy lunch so much. The restaurant has recently been taken over by Chef Alain Ducasse and the feedback that we have had on the quality of the food so far has been very good. We'll keep monitoring this: thank you for the feedback, it helps us keep our quality the highest possible on our visits.
We hope you had a wonderful stay in Paris and we look forward to seeing you on future trips.
