Multi-Day Switzerland Hiking Tour

We did the 8-day Via Alpina hiking trip and it was phenomenal. Our guide Mel was knowledgable, fun, and always 2 steps ahead of us in suggesting hikes and activities that pushed our fitness level in a way we really enjoyed. When it was too rainy to hike on one day, she guided us through Interlaken and interesting local attractions. She really made the trip unforgettable. Cannot recommend her enough as a guide!

My Mountains did a fantastic job curating this trip. First time traveling to Switzerland and participating in a multi-day village-to-village hiking trip. The ease of booking and communication before the trip was excellent. Before arriving, the guides opened up a group chat for direct and easy communication. WE did the self-guided tour, but it did include a meet-and-greet guide on the arrival day, and then on the first full day of hiking we did have a guide, which was very useful. Our Guide (Thomas) was very friendly and knowledgeable. He stayed in contact throughout our trip with several tips and ideas to change up hikes if we needed to. All the hiking trails were just amazing, granted we had perfect weather. Each day brought a new adventure, and at times we felt like the only people around. If you enjoy hiking, this trip is for you. Worth every penny!

We had a wonderful time hiking town to town in this most beautiful part of Switzerland. The hotels were very nice, with great breakfasts and views. Walter, our guide was knowledgeable, helpful and ensured that we were safe and had a good time, We really appreciated the guides help in accompanying us from the airport and back.

9 Day Heart of Switzerland Hiking Trip - a review Let me start by saying that I normally do not post reviews, but this trip surpassed all of my expectations. It was simply the best vacation my husband and I have ever taken as a couple. Pre-trip support was prompt and helpful. The trip was well-coordinated with an itinerary designed to maximize our enjoyment of each region on our tour. Our private tour guide Melanie was friendly, helpful, and professional. Our time spent with her exploring Lucerne and on our guided hike were definitely highlights of our trip. The logistics arrangements for the trip allowed us to travel effortlessly from region to region, so that we could focus fully on enjoying each day’s activities. The hotel accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed. We were treated to warm and welcoming hospitality everywhere we stayed. The hikes in each region were fabulous. We had many options in each region, allowing us to choose the best route for the specific conditions. I would heartily recommend booking with MyMountains to anyone who would like to experience an idyllic tour of the Swiss Alps. We can’t wait to come back ourselves!

We went on the 8 day self-guided multi region hike. Then on the 3 day side hiking trip in Zermatt. My Mountains arranged all hotels and for the transportation of our luggage each day. We loved the hiking trip. September was an awesome time of year to go. The weather was in the 70's, and only encountered crowds in Grindlewald. The hikes were phenomenal, and we loved the opportunity to choose our own hikes and to use the public transportation of trains, gondolas and ski chairs daily. The food in Switzerland was excellent with a focus on fresh farm to table food. The scenery allowed us to relax and be 'in the moment' with the beauty and sounds (cow and goat bells) of the landscape. My Mountains did an amazing job choosing the hotels. In every hotel our room had beautiful views. We loved all the hotels we were in. The only suggestion I have is to book the resort in Frut-Malchese for 2 nights. It was so nice we didn't want to leave after 1 night! The two guides we had at the start of the trip and Zermatt were excellent. We found them extremely knowledgeable, helpful and fun to hike with. The only glitch occurred when we traveled to Zermatt. We thought our luggage would be delivered, as it was for the first week. It ended up getting stranded at our previous hotel, and so were without luggage for one night. We recommend better communication to make sure that the information is very clear that we needed to transfer our own luggage to Zermatt. Overall, though and wonderful trip.

I really appreciate that My-Mountains could put together my five day self-guided trek from Meiringen to Adelboden through the Swiss Alps on very short notice. I had a norrow window to do this hike and they came through. They were professional and the luggage transfer worked very smoothly. The lodging accomodation was excellent. This all contributed to a great trekking experience and I would recommend this company.
