The visit was very interesting with the guide Luis. He provided a lot of historical information. But perhaps it could have been complemented with a little more time in the old town. Although it is fair to highlight that the surrounding neighborhoods were visited. Very good job by Luis.
A great way to experience and learn about Lucerne in 2 hours. Our guide Sofia is quite pleasant, entertaining and very knowledgeable. She provided meticulous historical details about the city’s iconic landmarks like the Chapel Bridge and provided insights on the original purpose of its construction. We walked through the winding streets of Lucerne stopping by all the historical landmarks like the Lion monument walking all the way up to the Time Tower that has an ancient clock and has a great view of the city from that location. We took the boat ride after the walking tour to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lake Lucerne. We’re lucky to have Sofia, such a wonderful guide and also the weather was perfect! We had a great time
This was an exceptionally good walking tour! Sophia was our guide. She was very knowledgeable and shared the rich history of key sites in Lucerne. We also enjoyed the boat ride on Lake Lucerne.
Our guide Sophia was superb and knowledgeable, we really enjoyed the Lucerne city tour. We saw far many more parts of the city than we expected to visit.

The Lucerne walking tour and the boat ride was excellent. Lazlo our guide for the tour was great, took us through the Of Town and city sites and explained all the history and culture. The boat tour was great and the lake and surrounding mountains are beautiful. Highly recommended.

Isabella was a bit late meeting us - despite asking that we meet 20 minutes before our chosen tour time. When we got started we, along with the other couple said we’d been in Lucern for at least a day and had already walked over/taken photos of the chapel bridge. She took us anyway, which was fine because she was able to give us more information including showing photos of before the various fires that damaged/destroyed parts of the bridge. Then we continued the tour by going to see the church - she didn’t have much information about it and didn’t have any supplemental photos to add in her information. She took us to see the lion statue and told us the story as well as the lore around the boar. We then took a shortcut to the city walls through a mall entrance. She talked about how part of the city wall was destroyed after a decision made by the council in 1890 - when asked about how they felt about WWI coming so soon after destroying walls built to protect the city, she didn’t seem to know. She then walked us to the marina to catch our boat tour. The boat tour was a disappointment as there was no information at all about what was around the boat and what we were seeing. It was more like a ferry with a quick tag on the other side of the lake. We wouldn’t do this tour again as we didn’t think it was worth the price tag - especially given the ferry-like, no-information boat experience.

We had another couple in the tour who wanted to cover the tour description and we could not change it just because of you! that is common sense! The boat is a lovely ride around the lake and Isabella explained to you about the mountains which you will see from the lake cruise and shared with you all the information about the lake and its surroundings!
