The tour begins with a visit to JVARI Church, 6th century. The most important religious centre and an architectural masterpiece of medieval Georgia. Enjoy the breathtaking view from the church that towers over the city of MTSKETA. Continue to SVETITSKHOVELI Cathedral, known as the burial site of Christ's robe and the second-largest church building in the 11th century. Take an excursion to UPLISTSIKHE, an ancient cave town and one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia. The town represents a complex of various structures dating from the 12th century. BC. Also, we can visit Stalin's Museum in GORI (optional), dedicated to the life of JOSEPH STALIN. Finish your tour at the CRONICLE OF GEORGIA, which is the hugest Monument in Tbilisi . Spectacular sights closer to Tbilisi!
A great tour to see the spectacular sights closer to Tbilisi! The Jvari church with the view of the two rivers and the brutal Chronicles of Georgia were an absolute highlight. As all the reviews say, Tamara's hosting was the icing on the cake!

Tamara was our guide for...
Tamara was our guide for the day. She was pleasant and knowledgeable about the locations. She had also planned the day to avoid the evening traffic in Tbilisi which we really appreciate. She was an excellent driver as well which made the long journey comfortable. Communication in English was adequate.

I really enjoyed this...
I really enjoyed this tour of some of the most important sites in Georgia. We all definitely learned a lot. However, the best part of the tour is the personable tour guide who went above and beyond in making sure that we were comfortable and having a good time.

Excelente guía y tour
Lika turned out to be an excellent guide. She took the time to translate and speak in Spanish all the explanations she gave us, and she was very discreet, never asking where we were from or what we were doing in our country, etc., unlike most guides who want to know how long we've been there and try to sell us other tours. Her explanations were concise and sufficient. She delivered on everything she promised. She was also an excellent driver; she deserves a ten out of ten.
