Visit the most famous places in Georgia recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Jvari temple builted at the turn of V-VI centuries , monument "Chronicles of Georgia" and Old capital of Georgia town Mtskheta the home to the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral , the place where was buried robe of Jesus.
Our tour starts from Jvari Monastery ancient temple dates back to the 6th century nearby the ancient capital Mtskheta, located on the top of a high mountain, from where picturesque views of the neighborhood open, at the intersection of stormy waters of the Aragvi and Kura rivers. The temple attracts thousands of tourists because of its architecture, location and historical value. The name of the church is translated from Georgian as “the cross” and has its own history wich we will tell you there.
Next, we continue to the ancient capital of Georgia — Mtskheta, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Mtskheta has been inhabited for more than 2,600 years and once served as the capital of the early Georgian Kingdom of Iberia. From the parking area, we will walk to the historical center of Mtskheta, passing through its charming narrow streets filled with souvenir shops, wine tastings, and traditional Georgian sweets. The highlight of our visit will be the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, the burial site of Christ’s Robe and one of the most sacred and revered places in Georgia.
And our final stop is the Chronicles of Georgia , huge stone monument that go by the different names , often called "Georgian Stonehenge" or "Georgian History Memorial" , monument depicts scenes from the 3,000-year history of Georgia and was designed and created by Zurab Tserteli, consists of 16 large columns that reach a height of around 30-35 meters each. The top part of the 35 meter tall columns feature most popular and powerful kings, queens and heroes of Georgia. With all of this monument has got amazing panoramic view to Tbilisi lake

We took this private tour with Giorgi and we were so happy that we did. Giorgi is super knowledgeable. He knows his History so well and he such a chill and pleasant guy.
