This was a wonderful tour! We were surprised that we were the only people on the Hokusai train. Even though we didn’t get to see Mt. Fuji due to cloudy conditions, we had an awesome time riding the train, visiting the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center and Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine, and walking to Shiraito Falls. We especially enjoyed the wasabi farm tour and tasting. That was a truly unique experience! Special thanks to our guide Shige-san. He was knowledgeable, patient, and kind. We’re from Hawaii so we can say Shige-san definitely had the aloha spirit! Mahalo Shige-san!
I don’t usually write reviews but our guide, Shen, was so great. There were 8 in our group total and I think we had the Hokusai train all to ourselves. It was overcast our day but we did get a glimpse of Mt. Fuji during lunch. The waterfalls were very cool and the Wasabi farm was unique. Shen said this was a rare experience even for someone from Japan. It’s a lot packed in to one day, so time is a little short at some places. Everyone was super nice but shout out again to Shen who was just the nicest and most caring.
The tour guide was kind and explained the tourist destination in detail. It was a great experience!
The tour was quite enjoyable and fulfilling! The tour guide, Nao-san, made the whole trip engaging and fun with his knowledge and friendly nature. It is a trip for people who wants a unique and hands-on experience!
We went in May 2026, there were 5 people in the group and a guide, Mr. Nao. In one day visited several locations, saw the sacred Mount Fuji, waterfalls, visited a cultural center, nature park, wasabi farm, took a special tourist train and raced by high-speed train. Everything was very well organized, despite the fact that it was a very busy day, we were not tired at all and we returned to Tokyo satisfied. I would like to thank Mr. Nao in particular for his attentiveness and interesting and informative stories.
This tour far exceeded our expectations. We booked from Canada based on recommendations from a Tokyo hotel concierge. So glad we did. The tour confirmation package was informative with hour-by-hour of the day’s itinerary. The tour was great! It was filled with cultural experiences in addition to the sights at the majestic Mt Fuji. This tour ticked off all the boxes for us. We got to ride the bullet train twice and experience the local train from Mishima that was reserved just for the tour group. We had the most personable and experienced tour guide Nao. He was attentive, knowledgeable, thoughtful and so accommodating. We hit all the key spots and got phenomenal pictures of Mt Fuji. Lunch was local and delicious. The wasabi farm experience was unique and so much fun. This tour is a must do for anyone wishing to have a great view of Mt Fuji.
This was a fantastic tour led by a well informed, kind, and informative guide, Nao (not “Later”, as he affectionately refers to himself). The tour gave us insight into Mount Fuji, its lore and art, a local shrine, a DELICIOUS lunch at the local hotel, and a local wasabi farm. I learned so much and I totally recommend this tour to others. Please spread the word!
Nao gave a really amazing tour of mount fuji. An amazing person to follow around for a day.
Pésima información sobre el punto de encuentro, no tienen oficina, el personal no es puntual a no llega, duramos más de una hora esperando y no apareció el funcionario con el cartel del operador, se escribe al servicio al cliente y no responden. Pésima experiencia nada confiable Terrible information about the meeting point; they don't have an office; the staff is unpunctual or doesn't show up at all; we waited for over an hour and the representative with the operator's sign never appeared; we contacted customer service and received no response. A terrible and completely unreliable experience.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear of your frustrating experience with the meeting point and not connecting with your group. We understand your disappointment deeply. However, on the day of your tour, as other guests were present and ready to depart, the tour unfortunately needed to leave promptly at 8:10 AM as scheduled to ensure everyone could enjoy the full itinerary. Our guide and staff did actively look for you at the designated meeting spot before departure, but regrettably, they were unable to find you. We also noted that your viator chat message was received at 8:33 AM, which was after the tour had already commenced. For immediate assistance prior to departure, our call center was available and ready to help from 7:00 AM. Given these specific circumstances, we regret to inform you that a refund cannot be issued. Please be assured that we take all feedback very seriously. We are actively reviewing our meeting point instructions and communication processes to enhance clarity and ensure a smoother experience for all our guests in the future. We sincerely appreciate your understanding regarding our policies and the circumstances of this situation.
Full experience! Beautiful views of Mount Fuji, we visited a charming waterfall and finally had the pleasure of trying pure wasabi for the first time. The guide is very friendly and explains about Japanese culture. I recommend!
