This is a must do if visiting Japan! Our guide, Ryue Kawada, was amazing!!! He made every effort to tailor the day to what we wanted to do and see. As a result, we made the most of our time. Most of all, he is so personable with a great sense of humor that you will adopt him as part of your family like we did. The tour was fun not only because of what we did, but also because of the friendship that we enjoyed with Ryue. I highly recommend this tour company, and especially this tour with Ryue.
Our driver, Sei, was excellent and provided some excellent recommendations which enhanced our trip. We visited some additional scenic photo spots that Sei recommended to us and they were fantastic. Sei is friendly and helpful and made sure we had a good time. I would gladly use this company again the next time I visit Japan.
We didn’t get to take the tour and ended up losing over £700 because the company advised us too late of a change to departure time. With less than 24 hours to the tour time, we were advised we needed to depart at 06.30 am instead of 8am to avoid traffic congestion on the day which was a public holiday. This time didn’t suit those in our party that had health issues and we eventually had to cancel the tour altogether but, because the tour company informed us of the changes so late, we were no longer entitled to a refund.
Thank you for your review. We are very sorry to unable to accommodate your tour as we received your cancel request. We have responded according to the rules of our cancellation policy. Thank you for your understanding and we are sorry we could not meet your request.
We had a great time with Taro! Took us to great locations to view Mt. Fuji from, as well as shrines relating to Mt. Fuji. He has a lot of insight on not only the local current culture, but the history of Japan as well. We were able to experience a lot of lovely memories, and walked away with a stamp collecting keepsake as well. We highly recommend the experience!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Taro! It sounds like you had an amazing time exploring Mt. Fuji and the surrounding shrines with him. It's great to hear that Taro provided valuable insights into Japan's local culture and history. I'm sure your recommendation will be helpful for others looking for a memorable experience.

Fuji was the highlight of our trip thanks to Hiretaxi Japan Hire Taxi Japan is simply the BEST taxi service in Tokyo. If I could give a 6 star rating I would!! Our family had the most memorable visit to Mount Fuji thanks to Daniel-san and our driver/guide. Taro-san, the most professional, knowledgeable, insightful, thoughtful guide you'll ever have the chance to meet. We were looking forward to visiting Fuji as part of our trip to Japan and had initially reserved with another tour cie a white back. Needless to say i was a bit in a panic mode when i called Hire Taxi Japan when the other tour operator never showed up. Daniel-san from Hire taxi Japan was super understanding and immediately offered to help us find a guide for us. He also helped me register through their website which was super simple and easy. As he was working to find someone at the last minute to take us to Fuji, he always kept me informed of his progress which helped reassure all of us. Within minutes, he had been able to find Taro-San, our driverguide. 30 minutes later Taro-san was picking us up in a super clean professional vehicle We booked the 10 hour tour (through Lake Kawaguchiko). It went by in a flash. Every stop along the way brought its own little wonderful surprise. Taro-san was simply the best guide ever, generously sharing insights not only about the places we visited but also the culture and history of Japan. My kids , my wife and I loved learning about Japan through Taro-san. He also patiently answered the barrage of questions we were firing at him. Throughout the multiple stops, as a true gentlemen, he always made sure my wife and 2 daughters were always well taken care of. The tour went by in a flash. At the end, our heads were filled with amazing views , each one as breathtaking as the other, and also great details about what we had seen. Only an expert guide like Taro-san could have brought us to these magical spots .I also want to say that everything you read about Taro san is absolutely 100% true and I am not the only one praising his service I would vouch for him and the cie anytime. I encourage everyone to use the hire Taxi Japan service. They are the REAL DEAL. Don't make the same mistake we did by trying to use another operatorWe were extremely fortunate that Hire Taxi Japan saved our day and will always be grateful to Taro-san and Daniel-san Sincerely Patrick
We had an amazing experience. Taro our tour guide was simply wonderful. He was professional, knowledgeable, kind. He was very organized and took us to the most beautiful sites around Mt. Fuji. He definitely knows the best spots to take pictures. He even bought fish cakes for us to try.
What a fantastic way to discover Mount Fuji and the surrounding areas! We got to see it from different angles, including a boat ride. Our guide, Komei, was exceptional. Knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly, he adjusted the tour to perfectly suit our needs, including accessibility for wheelchairs. Besides the breathtaking views, the highlights were the local market and restaurant. My young adult kids also enjoyed exploring the ice caves. This trip truly had something for everyone, making it a memorable and favorite family vacation.
We had a wonderful time. Our guide was Tai. He was very knowledgeable. He told us a lot about every place we went. He listened to where we wanted to go and he also had excellent ideals about other places to take us. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Would definitely recommend.
