Begin your Mt. Fuji adventure with a scenic ride on the Mount Kachi Kachi Ropeway, ascending to an observation deck with breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. Capture unforgettable photos of Japan's most iconic peak from one of the region's best viewpoints. Please note: If the ropeway is unavailable due to weather conditions or scheduled maintenance, it will be replaced with a Lake Kawaguchi sightseeing boat cruise, or the ropeway ticket fee will be refunded.
Owakudani Valley is a volcanic valley in Japan’s Hakone region, formed around 3,000 years ago during Mount Hakone’s last eruption. Famous for its active sulfur vents and hot springs, the valley produces dramatic steam and volcanic gases, creating a unique, otherworldly landscape. The tour guide Jack was difficult to understand and he didn't provide much useful information. He mostly focused on what time we would need to be at the bus. He didn't adjust times or path for the weather and so we went to Fuji in the afternoon when it was raining. I wish he had flipped the day so we could have seen it in the morning. It was a useful way to get to and from the area.

The tour itself is a well rounded but basic tour of Mt. Fuji. What truly sets it apart is having Andrew as a guide, he went above and beyond what I normally expect from tours. He was very attentive, cheerful, and really lighten everyone’s mood throughout the whole tour. It was very obvious that Andrew has a great passing for being a tour guide. I hope to have him as a guide again and anyone that has Andrew assigned will have one of the best tour experiences ever.

I had a great time. We couldn't see Mt Fuji at the start of the day but the weather improved. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable about each location. It sometimes felt rushed as I would have liked more time in some sites. The bus was well maintained and the seats were comfortable. Only negative was that the bus did not have plugs to charge you phone.
