Absolute Must Do in Mt Dora
I took this ghost store this past weekend in Mount Dora, and it was exceptional! I had previously taken other ghost tours in other cities and found that this one was substantially better! The tour guide was very thorough and fact based. She brought items that could be used for the “ghosts” to communicate with us. At one point, she gave us the ability to try to reach out to someone we may have known who is deceased. I found that in more than one instance we were able to see proof of spirits.

Wonderful Experience - Definite Do Again!
American Ghost Adventures was a wonderful experience. Chris, our guide was very knowledgeable about ghosts and the history of Mt. Dora. Although the ghosts were not very cooperative, I would recommend American Ghost Adventures to everyone.

Our “investigator” Debbie...
Our “investigator” Debbie was very knowledgable, not only with the activities of the spirits but also of the town’s history.
However, we had hoped it would have been more of a walking tour. We sat in a reception room at the Lakeside Inn for the first 40-45 minutes of the tour listening to “ghost” stories, which were interesting but we felt the session was a little long.

We do want to clarify that you selected our 2-Hour Investigative Walking Tour, which is designed as our "sampler" experience. It includes local history, ghost stories, and a mini paranormal investigation using ghost-hunting equipment. American Ghost Adventures is well known for its interactive investigations and hands-on use of paranormal equipment, which is a signature part of this experience.
If you were looking for a tour that is entirely focused on walking and storytelling, our Haunted Walking History Tour would likely have been a better fit. That tour is completely outdoors and concentrates on Mt Dora's haunted history without the investigative portion.

Debbie was excellent! Her knowledge of historic Mt. Dora and its previous inhabitants makes for an entertaining and informational tour, with the bonus of interacting with some of them!

Amazing Experience
Debbie was amazing! We have been on several "ghost tours" in many areas and she was by far one of the most inviting guides not only to us but also to those that joined us in spirit in various spots in Mt Dora. I would highly recommend taking a tour with her. Knowledgeable in the area as well as the stories that have been shared with her and others as well as personal.experiences she has had. What a wonderful way to end our Anniversary weekend!

Great family experience’
Debbie was great! She knew all the ins and outs of every building we visited. Super friendly and amazing with kids. Can’t recommend a ghost tour enough with American Ghost Adventures. 20/10 highly recommended

Best Ghost Tour
