Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rock Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready to learn unique facts about the area and spot the local nature and wildlife along the way. Animals you may see: turtles, birds, fish, otters, deer, alligators, and more!
We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose.

The meeting point is We launch from Kings Landing. Make sure to park on the road just outside of the gate. *DO NOT GO INTO THE KINGS LANDING BUILDING* Once you see the Kings Landing building on your right go behind to our launch area (there's an enclosed trailer where we will check you in from). . Hotel pickup is not part of this experience.

Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap For every minor participating, there needs to be an adult to accompany them within the kayak. Children must be at least 3yrs old to participate.

Megan was lovely and made us feel relaxed on the trip. She was very supportive and pointed out key spots along the trip. Would recommend a morning a lot as there’s less people to navigate which is helpful if you aren’t as coordinated as others.

What an experience. It was so good to get out into nature. It was fun kayaking the spring, lots of wildlife to be seen and we even saw an otter! Megan our guide was fabulous. She was knowledgable and friendly.

My experience with Megan was a lot of fun. She was very patient even when we were all over the place. She made sure to take lots of photos of us and told us a lot of fun facts the whole trip. The river felt nice and there were no crowds so 8:45 was the best time to go. I would come back again!
