Experience an unforgettable Mount Batur sunrise with two exciting options. Choose the Full Sunrise Trek for an adventurous hike to the summit at 1,717 meters. For an easier experience, choose the Sunrise Jeep Tour to a scenic sunrise viewpoint, followed by an adventure across the famous Black Lava Field. Please note, the jeep cannot reach the summit because there is no road access to the top. Both joined-in and private tour options are available for your experience.

10/10 would recommend!
This was such an amazing experience! We had our driver Indra dedicated to us for the duration of the experience. He got us from point A to point B safely and swiftly! Yus was our tour guide for the hike and he did such an amazing job. He made sure to get us to the top of the mountain quickly, took awesome pictures of us, made us a delicious breakfast and then got us down before the crowd. He was a wonderful conversationalist, too, which was really lovely. The hike to the top is challenging, but it’s worth the trek. I would recommend to bring layers. It was hot climbing the mountain but once we were at the top it was cold and windy. They have people at the top that will rent you a blanket for the time you’re up there which is a great option if you underdress. I think you get more than what you pay for in my opinion. 10/10 experience and I would do it again!

Stunning sunrise, and excellent Guide Wira!
It was a fabulous experience, especially with our Guide WIRA! He was truly fabulous. He was kind friendly and took such great care of us to make sure that we got up and down the mountain safely, especially in the very dark, hiking up and in the slippery volcano and going down. The sunrise was spectacular! We enjoyed the breakfast he prepared and exploring the live, volcanic rock and steam coming out surrounded by very cute monkeys.. highly recommend the strip and highly recommend asking for WIRA as your guide!!!

Amazing hike - Kuas #1 guide
I recently trekked up the mountain with some friends and our guide Kuas. Was truly an unforgettable experience. Kuas was super helpful in making sure we took the best route to the summit. He cooked us a great breakfast and took amazing photos for us! When signing up for this adventure ask for Kuas!!
