The guides and sunrise made the trip
What an amazing experience! The view and sunrise were spectacular. We loved our guide and ended up with a bonus guide in training. They were hysterical and the four of us laughed all the way to the top of the mountain. They took incredible pictures that we will treasure forever. After the sunrise, you head to a lava field. That’s the best way I can describe it. It was cool but opted to take a few pictures and head to hot springs. The best part is that you can control how long or short you stay in this area based on preference. Since the tours are private you set the pace. I’m glad we opted to head to the hot springs sooner than later. It was somewhat busy when we got there. Beware of the flies at the springs. It is outside onion fields and they are relentless. We only stayed about 30 minutes even though you can stay up to 90 minutes. The flies became too much to deal with. Additionally, when we started back to the locker rooms SO MANY more people were making their way into the venue. The place was pretty decently sized but the number of people getting there when we were leaving was overwhelming. Guides 10/10 Sunrise 10/10 Lava Field 5/10 Hot springs 2/10

Merta is an incredible tour guide, very nice, patient, and an awesome photographer!! Would highly recommend going with him. He had everything we needed and would love to do this again!

Agus, the best part of the experience.
Agus was the best! He suggested taking photos of us at different moments of the sunrise without us even asking him. Very kind and helpful!! Ask for him when you book! Bring a coat and blankets because otherwise they will charge you for them separately.
