Mount Batur Sunrise Hike – Local Guide & Hot Spring Experience

We had an amazing experience doing the Batur sunrise hike, our Driver Dek was in contact the day before to let us know the time he would collect us and was ready to pick us up just when he said, our guide was very supportive and encouraging and always checking if we were okay, she also cooked us a nice breakfast using the volcanic steam and took some amazing photographs for us, at the end of the Trek we headed back to Dek who took us to the natural hot springs, he took us in and showed us around and then left us to it, the hot springs were amazing on our tired legs after the early hike and really what we needed.

I had the tour guide named Dewi(make sure to specifically ask for her!). Her English is amazing, she was kind and talkative throughout. Meet up was no hassle at all with good communication. We went up to the summit at a reasonable pace that we were happy with and had plenty of time to relax before the sun rose and showed off the amazing views! Highly recommend this experience, it is great value for money and I highly recommend booking with Dewi.

This hike was one of the best experiences during our Bali trip. The climb was challenging but manageable, and our guide was incredibly patient and supportive the whole way. Reaching the top just before sunrise was absolutely magical—the view was breathtaking. After the hike, relaxing in the hot spring was the perfect reward for our tired legs. Everything was well organized from pickup to drop-off. Highly recommended!

If you're visiting Bali and enjoy a bit of adventure, don't skip this tour. The trek was challenging enough to feel rewarding but still manageable for most people. Watching the sun rise over the mountains while enjoying a simple breakfast cooked using volcanic heat was something I'll never forget.

Out of everything I did in Bali, this was my favorite activity. The scenery was stunning from start to finish, and the summit views were beyond anything I expected. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the hike.

My partner and I had an amazing time on this trek. Sharing the sunrise from the summit was such a memorable experience. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and the guide made everyone feel comfortable regardless of fitness level.

The hike was a little challenging in places, but reaching the summit made it all worthwhile. Watching the sky slowly change colors while overlooking the clouds was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

Mount Batur sunrise trekking deserves all the great reviews it receives. The scenery is world class, the guides are excellent, and the feeling of standing on the summit as the sun rises is impossible to describe. If you're visiting Bali, make sure this is on your itinerary.
