Itinerary

Morialta Conservation Park
Admission included240 min

On arrival, set off on foot along hiking trails with your guide, and walk to rugged vistas to observe the morning light reflected on rock faces in the national reserve. You'll come upon the grand Morialta Falls and Second Falls. The less-visited and more tranquil Third Falls is nestled at the end of the trail. Take time to listen to the softly cascading water in this peaceful setting along Fourth Creek. It's likely you'll spot koalas amid the diverse wildlife, including the occasional kangaroo or echidna. The creeks, rock pools, and higher slopes of the gorge offer an ideal habitat to several species of frogs and small lizards such as geckos, skinks, and dragons. Listen to the sounds of native birds such as the superb fairy-wren, rare golden whistler, rainbow lorikeet, and laughing kookaburra. See how many species you can discover, and search for delicate orchid species and other wildflowers that are abundant each winter and spring. Finish off with a delicious picnic lunch.

Amazing experience

Guides were very friendly and informative. Plenty of time to walk at a leisurely pace and take in the surroundings. Lovely winery, very picturesque. Saw lots of Koalas and even two kangaroos. The falls were beautiful and there was a nice morning tea stop by a river. It was a very enjoyable trip, especially for those who like bushwalks. Would have loved to go on more trips with them, but we ran of time. If we ever went back to Adelaide we would tour with them again.

Very nice tour in the hills of Adelaide

We took part in a tour of the park in spring (October). During the hike we learned a lot about Australian nature and life in Australia from Shavojn (guide). The trail leads to waterfalls and rock formations. In the forest we saw many different birds and discovered a koala in the treetops. At the end of the hike, "Sinclair's Gully" awaited us, where the owner Sean led us through the bush, showed us rare orchids and explained how they protect and manage the bushland. Of course, we were also allowed to taste its excellent wine! In the end, Mike waited with a delicious BBQ. We had a very nice day and can recommend the tour.

Excellent Half Day Tour

It was a very pleasant tour. We enjoyed the walk very much. Shavojn, our guide, is very knowledgeable and give good commentary along the way. She has good eyes in picking out wildlife and plants on the way. My friend has a little accident and scratched her elbow. Shavojn immediately attended to her and for the rest of the journey kept looking back checking on her make sure she is ok. We are grateful that Shavojn is so professional and caring. We recommend their service to anyone who visits Adelaide.
