We had a great time. The tour accommodated our group of 20 people, which included elderly people in wheelchairs as well as children. The monkey/sloth/bird sanctuary was the highlights for us. Lunch at a local restaurant was very good though it had a difficult time accommodating the group quickly. Only complaint would be the directions to get out of the port and meet the tour guide. There is no Exit #1… there is just one exit where the busses and taxis are. Other than that, it was a worthwhile adventure!

Perfect tour, perfect guide, impressed by so much beauty in Honduras, Marvin is an excellent guide, kind and warm and very knowledgeable about the island, we arrived via a Royal Caribbean cruise.

Marvin from custom roaton adventures brought us. The staff was amazing. Initially we were greeted by an amazing swarm of guinea pigs, the greatest introduction. Then we saw the sloths. Turbo was the funnest sloth. He was so fun to get pictures with and he tried to escape. Then the beautiful birds. Next the monkeys, so fun, they were amazing, jumping on our heads, stealing hats, this was the best experience. Memories that will last forever.

Booking was super easy and the company communicated well about where and when to meet the day of the excursion. A reminder email was sent the night before. We booked the Monkey, sloth and beach excursion. Unfortunately, the weather was not great the day of our excursion , but it was still our favorite port of the entire cruise. Melvin Jr was our driver and tour guide, he was awesome! With the bad weather we did not make it to the beach, but he made sure we still had a great time. He took us all around the island showing us fun parts of roatan, the history, the culture and some authentic Honduran food. The highlight was AJs monkey and sloths, worth every penny! My kids say it was the best thing they did on the entire cruise. So fun to see the sloths, the monkeys, birds and even the guinea pigs. Would definitely recommend and would book again through custom roatan adventures with Melvin and Melvin Jr.

Amazing experience with Edwin Junior. We are already dying to come back to see Roatan again. We really enjoyed our time and are so glad we didn't book through Royal Caribbean. Edwin Junior is an incredibly nice and friendly person and from the few hours of time spent with him we really loved hearing about his life on the island and history he shared with us. PS to anyone considering just do it!!
