Monaco, Monte Carlo & Eze Private Tour

Our tour guide Vassali was very professional with exceptional knowledge of the areas we visited. All the times allocated were enough for each location. I would recommend 5 Stars 👍

Francis picked us up at the cruise port in Villefranche and immediately asked what we wanted to do. I assumed we had a rough outline of how our day would go based on the booking info (Villefranche/Eze/Monaco). I told him that we were interested in seeing the beautiful views, cultural interests, castles, etc. He told us he is from Villefranche, so we were looking forward to maybe seeing things from a locals point of view. Instead, we drove to Cap Ferrat, some houses of famous people were pointed out, we didnt stop in the town, and continued to drive around, seemingly with no plan, for the first 1-1.5 hrs of our tour. He kept asking what we wanted to do, but giving no options. Not a lot of chatting in the van. I guess we may be used to a different kind of guide. Francis just did not seem very enthusiastic about his job. After about 1.5hrs, I finally asked what the plan was, and we headed to Monaco. Once we got to Monaco, he dropped us off and pointed us in the direction of the palace, said to meet him again in 20 mins.....this is not someone acting as a guide, this is a driver. I saw that we still had several hours before we needed to be back and noticed that you are able to buy tickets to tour the palace. This seemed like a surprise to Francis. He's never been in the palace, didnt know how much the tickets were, or whether or not the tour was worth doing. Most of my party decided to pay the €13 and try it. After the palace, we were given the option of walking through the old town or the gardens........WHY COULDN'T WE HAVE DONE BOTH earlier on instead of wasting so much time in the morning?! Then we went to Monte Carlo to see the casino etc. We were dropped off, walked around for a few mins and met him again at the car. After this, it was time to head back to the boat. We stopped on the way to look at some big yachts, which was interesting. He mentioned Eze in passing on the way back, but we never made it there despite it being on our itinerary and arrived back at our port about 30 mins earlier than what the length of tour was supposed to be. We were told 3 times during the day that Francis had to drop us off at 1 or 1:30 because he had another tour in the afternoon. While I understand, it made us feel rushed. My husband and I hire private guides for most of our travels as this is our preference, but in this case, we may have gotten more info and basically the same tour in a large group. I would not recommend this tour.

Ruben was a fantastic guide for our trip to Èze and Monte Carlo. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information along the way. The entire experience was very convenient and efficient, with easy drop offs and pick ups, and he took us to some beautiful viewpoints that were perfect for photos. We really enjoyed our tour and would highly recommend Ruben!

We had a fantastic trip! Our guide Sabine was incredibly helpful. We uploaded the trip together, which was perfect. Sabine gave recommendations and we had to choose what we could manage during the day. Monaco and Eze were fantastic! We also managed to go swimming in Monaco. Sabine participated with us when we wanted. Guided then. Also had own time, like at the beach and for lunch. Then we decided on a pickup time which worked perfectly. We wouldn't have managed so much if we were to organize the trip ourselves. Three adults and 4 children remain. Used car with AC.

Brilliant. Worth every penny. We would never have seen everything we saw had we visited alone. Daniel was fantastic and very knowledgeable. I suggest going in the morning as we did as I would imagine Eze gets very busy in the afternoon. Very easy to book. Lots of confirmation messages. All went according to plan and on time. Thank you.

Our visit to Monaco and Èze was absolutely wonderful! 🇲🇨✨ We learned so much about the fascinating history of Monaco and enjoyed discovering the beautiful streets and scenery of Èze. A special highlight was visiting the Fragonard perfumery in Èze, where we learned more about the art and history of perfume making. Our guide, Vassili, was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Vassili, for a wonderful and memorable day! Highly recommended!

We had a great experience on the Guided Group Tour of Monaco, Monte-Carlo and Èze Village with Ruben.. What stood out most was Ruben himself. You can really feel how much he loves his home and the region, and that comes through in the way he presents it. He was friendly, professional, communicative and clear throughout the day, with great energy. A particularly nice touch was how he remembered everyone's names and where they were from, and then naturally integrated those details into his explanations and conversations. It made the tour feel much more personal :-) The tour was conducted in both Portuguese and English, and Ruben managed the two languages very well while keeping everyone involved.. Well done! We really enjoyed exploring Èze and chose not to visit the Exotic Garden because we preferred to spend that time wandering around the village and its little shops, which worked perfectly for us. (The perfume museum was probably the least interesting part for us. It felt a little more like a marketing stop than an essential part of the experience. As I am pregnant, I also found the scents a bit much and left slightly earlier, but Ruben was immediately there and guided us straight towards Èze village, which I really appreciated) If we could change one thing, we would have loved a little more time in Monaco, particularly around the Jardins Saint-Martin. We barely had a minute to stop there, and it looked like such a beautiful area... Also great for pictures ;) At the end of the tour, Ruben also shared a list of his personal recommendations with us, which was a thoughtful detail and something we will actually use during the rest of our stay. This was a marvelous tour of Monaco, Monte Carlo and Eze. The timing and sites were impeccable . We arrived before the crowds and saw key sites. The history from Stephane prepared us for the rest of our stay.

Very nice and comfortable way to see some beautiful areas of the French Riviera and Monaco. Vassili was our guide for our private 1/2 day tour and was great to spend time with. He was very knowledgeable and kept track of everything along the way. Pick-up and drop-off was perfect which was important as we were there only for the day on a cruise stop.
