En route to Monaco, make a first stop to discover the medieval village of Eze, one of the most picturesque sites of the French Riviera. Dating from the Middle Ages, the village was built on top of the rocky outcrop for security reasons. The walls of the twelfth century will be dismantled in 1706 by order of Louis XIV. Take the cobbled streets and reach the top where you can find today the exotic garden and the castle ruins, the view is amazing (1,400 ft / 427 meters high). Stop to discover the process of perfume at the perfum factory Fragonard.
Go through the village of La Turbie, also called the "Monaco terrace" because of the panoramic view of the Principality of Monaco. Admire the ruins of an imposing monument (164 ft/ 50 meters high) : the Trophy of the Alps, dedicated to the Emperor Augustus, built 7 BC on the road that linked Italy to Cimiez (the Roman Quarter Nice) longtime ago.
In front of the Palais du Prince, you will discover the Changing of the Guard at 11:55, you will notice the Carabinieri Barracks . Created on the 8th of December 1817, the Carabinieri have for main missions to ensure the safety of the Royal Family as well as maintain public order. See the lavish Gardens Casino, and marvel at the Hôtel de Paris wich has all the charm of the great hotels of the 19th century, the inauguration took place in 1864.

I loved the fact that it was a smaller van with just three other couples. It was a nice way to explore the region. I specifically enjoyed Eze and Turbie but Monte Carlo was a one of for us. Not sure if I would go back there. But a driver was nice and the views were stunning.
The tour itself was awesome. We had a mix up at the beginning because the pickup time changed and we didn’t get the message in time so we missed the pick up which ended up being 20 minutes earlier than we expected. We took an Uber to the first stop and met up with Milena and the other tourists so it all worked out. Pay attention to What’s App messages!
Alex was an amazing guide. He took such good care in driving and guiding! Eze was fantastic. Be ready to climb hills and steps!! Purchased perfume from the Fragonard factory. The discounts are real people! Monaco was beautiful. Alex made a lunch reservation at a charming restaurant for all of us. We ventured to the cathedral where Princess Grace and Prince Rainier were married and are now buried. Saw the palace. Stepped into the Monte Carlo Casino. Good fun!

This is very boring trip to be honest . It’s not worth the money you spend . Just go in the hop on/off bus to Morocco . The driver who came with us was keen to explain about his holidays - horrible The perfume factory is another rip off to waste your time and money
I had booked a tour in French and the guide announced that it would be in English instead and that if I wasn't happy, to contact Viator, because he didn't work for Viator. The guide gave very little information, it was more of a driver who drove us from one place to another and who let us visit the places on our own. Given the price and the lie regarding the language of the tour, I do not recommend it.
