Breathtaking views, lake landing stop was a nice benefit, got close enough to some of the ridges you could almost touch them. Everyone was very friendly. Be warned seats are not for comfort but even at 6’6’ I was able to mostly fit.
We loved our experience in Misty Fjords with the bush plane tour. Our pilot Steve was very knowledgeable. Lesley, the owner, was so communicative and helpful! Her crew picked us up and brought us to the sight. We lost our minds when Steve landed in the water in the middle of Big Goat Lake. We saw some incredible sights. Worth the money, and for someone who flies commercial even somewhat regularly, not scary. You’re under the clouds so it’s a different kind of air pressure. Plane holds 10 passengers.
This is a beautiful quiet view of The Misty Fiords which are absolutely beautiful. There is no other way to see it with such tranquility and amazing views. I would do it again when I visit Alaska.
Another spectacular tour of the Misty Fjords in Ketchikan. The pilot was skilled, informative about the landscape and native people. My daughter and I took the Misty Fjords and Wilderness tour by boat the day before and it was really awesome to see it from both perspectives, sea and by air! Gorgeous scenery!
Terrible customer service . Leslie is rude . They booked me on a different time slot and I found out about it the day of . While talking to other people, it was obvious that they have a reputation for doing this . Do not book with these people . They are unreliable and will ruin your sightseeing schedule in Ketchikan
This is a once in a lifetime experience that I highly recommend. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable
Fantastic experience on the Otter 250 with our pilot, Eric! We had sunny and clear skies, but I’d bet that it is beautiful regardless! Seeing the ponds and waterfalls hidden in the Alaskan wilderness was truly beautiful.
Amazing! We rode with the owner of the company and he shared lots with us. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous and they never take the same route twice. They also provide headphones that Bluetooth the pilots music and turns down when he wants to tell you something. You can also touch it to talk to the pilot. The pictures do not do this justice
Leslie with the flight service was exceptional host. She worked with me so much for a change in schedule!!! SHE DESERVES 10 STARS.
Thank you, Connie! I enjoyed working with you and happy you enjoyed your flight to the Misty Fjords with Eric! :) Take care and enjoy the rest of your summer!
Incredible experience. Landed on a remote fiord and got out on the pontoons for a while. Steve & Lesley, the operators are amazing. Very friendly and give you more than your moneys worth. Definitely recommend SeaWind Aviation!
Thank you for your review and so happy you enjoyed your experience with us!!
