Description
Fresh ingredients, everything from scratch, flavors of our traditional Mexico; in a beautiful Mexican-style house, surrounded by gardens, everything is set and carefully hand-picked for you to enjoy and live an authentic cultural and gastronomical immersion to the deepest traditions and roots of our ancient Mexican cuisine. Our gastro-cultural experience starts off with a brief introduction to the essential flavors and ingredients of Mexican cuisine, follow by a mezcal tasting, where we will learn, superficially, about its main characteristics and the right way to taste it. Then, in an ambiance full of joy, music and laughter, we will prepare a full menu with sides, salsa and fruit water "agua fresca" The preparation of tortillas and quesadillas is from scratch, as well as quesadillas, for which we always use artisanal cheese. By the end of the class, we sit down in one table to share the food we just prepared and the experience itself! Mi casa es tu casa, you are always welcome!

Such a fun afternoon with Lilly!
We learned how to make fresh corn tortillas from scratch, cooked delicious fresh fish, made a couple of amazing salsas with pumpkin seeds, black beans, and finished with a really tasty rice pudding. Everything was fresh, authentic, and so delicious. Lilly was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. We’d definitely recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting Mexico!

Don’t miss this class! Delightful!
My husband and I LOVED this cooking class! Our host was very friendly and an excellent teacher. Everything else learned we have put into practice and we are now making our own tortillas and salsas at home. We are sharing our new culinary skills with family and friends. Highly recommend!

Highlight of our vacation
My sister and I took a wonderful cooking class with Lily-a highlight of our vacation! It was fun to learn how easy and fast it is to make delicious salsas and tortillas. I am looking forward to making pasta tomato soup for my grandkids too. Can't wait to receive the email recipes so we can have a fun Cinco de Mayo here in Montana.

True home cooking and hospitality from Tia Lilly
Amazing experience with Lilly! All of the food was incredible and the delicious and she was so kind. One of us was feeling the effects of heatstroke and she turned on fans, AC, got ice bags and even put aloe on a sunburn while still making sure we ate and drank water. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone to experience true hospitality and great food.
