The experience is well worth it; the views and monasteries are beautiful. The organizers do their best to make things easy for you.We did the tour in Spanish. IMPORTANT: If you're planning the trip from Thessaloniki, avoid doing it on a weekend. It's difficult to get there by public transport, and you'll miss part of the excursion and won't be able to complete it.

Amazing experience
We had a wonderful day at Meteora. The journey from Thessaloniki is long, but everything was clearly communicated and well organized. Special thanks to our driver Chris and especially Maria, whose kindness, stories, and recommendations made the trip even more enjoyable. We had plenty of time to explore and visited three monasteries. While all of these were pretty crowded, we had plenty of time to explore. Highly recommended!

Other people's shame! VIATOR: a complete fraud and waste of time. DON'T HIRE VIATOR.
SHAME ON OTHER PEOPLE! VIATOR: COMPLETE FRAUD AND WASTE OF TIME
DO NOT HIRE EXCURSIONS WITH VIATOR. Our experience on our trip from Thessaloniki to Meteora was a resounding failure and a testament to the total unprofessionalism of this company.
They changed our departure time (from 8:00 AM to 5:55 AM) a day in advance, forcing us to waste FIVE HOURS of our short vacation. This included a two-and-a-half-hour wait on the way (and the same on the way back) to a completely abandoned train station: dirty, with black mold on the walls, bugs and an excruciating smell of tobacco.
The biggest indication of their lack of rigour is that we had to insist on being sent the tickets, which, to our surprise, were bought and sent just the day before, confirming that Viator did not manage the reservation in time.
They play with the limited time of the tourist. If you value your time, money and well-being, stay away from this company. They're not reliable.

useless
they told us to download an app to take advantage of the guidance, simply that once we left after a few kilometers there was no internet connection. Bad organization we paid only for the passage by bus which we could have done with our own vehicle, not having used the guide service
