OK but not yet optimal for Messina

Everything worked. The idea is good. The Tour Messina app does not give the impression that the author knows the area. A pointless up and down the hill instead of a good loop. In between, two boring passages of 15 empty minutes where there could be exciting places and information. It is good that the tour starts at the very top (bus stop). The AI speakers need to be updated again. Messina is pronounced completely wrong, years like one thousand five hundred and eighty-two, thousands of millions, etc., show that the spoken text is likely around 2 years old. The additional photos per post and the price are good.

Discover Messina flexibly and on your own

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For us, this tour was a great way to discover Messina on our own. The audio guide was interesting and pleasantly narrated, and we learned many things that we probably would have missed otherwise. We found the flexibility particularly practical. We did not start at the designated starting point, but instead adjusted the route to our plans, which worked without any problems. The restaurant recommendation was also a bullseye and provided us with a really good dinner. For a first visit to Messina, we can absolutely recommend the tour!

Easy to follow and very interesting. Be sure to visit the astronomical clock at Noon, even if it disrupts your tour sequence. Great show. Walking tour was very informative

By Disappointing, did not function

Could not get the guide to work on my phone. As for refund, but none was given. no one was there to help at the origin of the tour.

Operator response

Ciao, As specified in the product description, an active internet connection was a requirement to use the digital guide. Despite this requirement, we refunded your booking (which we were not obligated to do), and you still left us a negative review. I hope this response can help other travelers. Messina Tour

Started off and couldn't hear the commentary only when we had a signal. Saw all the places we wanted to but was a little back and forwards and the last stop we didn't do as it was 45 minutes away buy we could see it from our ship.

Perfect On Your Own Day!

This cost friendly option was a perfect way to see Messina on our own, at our own pace with time to stop and have a drink or a bite along the way. The audio was wonderful and as good as a live tour guide! The guide also included food recommendations and suggested the most wonderful little local place where we had the best food of our whole trip!

A good tour guide at good price

Overall the guide is good, clear and easy to use at your own pace. I wish that it include more historical sites such as the Ass. Roccaguelfonia Cristo Re and the Museo Tesoro Del Duomo.
