Haleakalā at Sunrise
This has to be one of the best tours we’ve ever done. It is definitely worth the early morning wake up call. Preston is an excellent driver and guide. He made sure that we were comfortable and maximized the time we had.

Witness the dawning of a new day atop Haleakala (the house of the sun) a dormant volcanic mountain overlooking Maui on the east side. Deep canyons and slopes and unspoiled terrain are home to endemic Hawaiian Nene geese and rare Silversword plants. You'll be transported in a comfortable mini coach to 9,740 feet elevation, close to the summit to witness the ultimate sunrise; a spectacular show of lights and colors. The sunrise tour is an unforgettable experience and a definite must-do on your Hawaii vacation. On the descent, marvel at sprawling scenic views of Kula and the Pacific Ocean on your way to breakfast at local favorite, Cafe O'Lei at the Plantation in Waikapu.

September Tour.
Great experience. Guide was outstanding and directed your attention to things that could be easily missed. Breakfast was good. Overall a worthwhile tour. Was pricey but a good value.

Pack warm for the early and cold sunrise!!
Preston is such a knowledgeable tour guide. Got picked up at the front lobby of our hotel and there we began the long ride up to the summit. We visited at the end of August and it was fairly warm at the resort, but was extremely cold at the summit especially since we're arriving so early. Even though we packed windbreakers and leggings, Preston was so kind to lend a pair of pants when I was shivering from the cold. He also had bits and pieces of other clothing (beanies/jacket/etc). He provided warm drinks and snacks while we waited for the sunrise. Area for the sunrise can be packed with other tours and visitors, but people scatter to the visitor center so you'll have your moment at the railing. Ride down was amazing as well with Preston sharing all his knowledge about Maui's history. Breakfast was delicious as well. Highly recommend this experience as we would've been so tired making this early drive up and would have been scrambling to ensure sunrise reservations.

Phenomenal
It was incredible. Not only are the sights one of a kind, but the journey was amazing as well. Our tour guide was passionate, knowledgeable, and resourceful. The breakfast we had on the way back was delicious, and the swarm of ducks and roosters was an amazing bonus. Overall amazing experience, would highly recommend

The Amazing Alfredo “Al Pachino” Haleakala Tour!
Alfredo “ Al pachino” truly gave us the best experience. Not only was he highly experienced and knowledgeable of the land, but he was hilarious, kind, respectful and was an incredible tour guide. His peaceful and positive energy made my husband and I so relaxed as we drove up Haleakala. We were nervous as he gets motion sickness, but Alfredo made the ride extremely smooth and talked his group through it every step of the way. He led us to the perfect spot and gave us a spare jacket and towel as it was raining. We sincerely appreciate his kind heart and passion for the land! Thank you so very much Alfredo for giving us an unforgettable experience for our honeymoon!

Preston was the best guide, he shared a lot of interesting information with us about the island, it is without a doubt an experience that I highly recommend!

Not worth it
The driver was great but it was very disappointing because it was raining and we froze for nothing. It was basically a long bus ride up a mountain where we couldn’t see anything. Not sure how often this excursion is a thorough waste of time, money and discomfort
