Description
All riders must be 36 inches or taller to participate/ride submarine. Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Maui’s marine treasures off beautiful Lahaina with Atlantis Submarines Maui. A special added bonus of this tour experience is seeing the spectacular West Maui Mountains while riding our shuttle boat to the Maui dive site. Stingray, yellow tang, eel, parrotfish, bluefin trevally, and an array of other marine species are seen regularly at the dive site. See firsthand how the Carthaginian, a sunken 19th century whaling brig, has combined with Mother Nature to create a fascinating artificial reef to attract and support marine life of all sizes, shapes and colors. Our air-conditioned, comfortable submarine interiors offer large viewing ports, which allow guests to relax and enjoy the amazing wonders of the deep. Our quiet, battery-powered submarines are eco-friendly, emitting no pollutants and leaving marine life undisturbed. Join us for an unforgettable experience!

Amazing Views

Beautiful sights
The underwater sights were remarkable. The submarine pilot was competent and the equipment was to high standards. Seating was comfortable and everyone had a great view -- and there was so much to see! The narrator was knowledgeable and personable. The problem was that she couldn't always be heard over the noise of the engine of the boat while we were being transported from the shore to the submarine. Our main problem was that the walk from the meeting place to the transfer boat was long and hard for my husband, who walks with a cane. I wish we had been told we could have be dropped off right at the harbor and avoid the walk in the hot sun. This is a temporary problem due to the fire, so ask about this if it might be an issue for you.

First experience in a submarine!
This was a very unique experience. Probably a once in a lifetime kind of thing. It was very cool being under water in a “submarine”. We spent about an hour under water looking out port holes for fish and corral. The main guide , Calvin, was very humerus and informative throughout the whole trip. The rest of the crew were also very nice and helpful. Everyone did a fantastic job, but it just felt a little touristy for me. Seemed like we covered a relatively small area near man made reef out of a sunken ship. It was great for what it was, but I left a little underwelmed.

A Must-see on Maui!
The Atlantis submarine tour was absolutely amazing! The captain and crew gave us a thorough briefing before we got underway which removed some of the apprehension that some people may have had (claustrophobia, etc.). The tour took us to about 140 feet in depth which allowed us to see a reef, many kinds of fishes, and a sunken ship that is now a marine life habitat. Five stars to the captain and crew!

Amazing and memorable!
Amazing trip on the Maui Atlantis Submarine! The guides and crew were very knowledgeable, and our tour guide Keolani was born and raised on Maui. We were fortunate to hear her firsthand knowledge of this amazing area! We had the full submarine experience with sirens, the depth gauge and a very safe Captain! Keolani was very knowledgeable about the sea life and encouraged us to help protect the sea life and coral, with tips on how to do that. She was friendly and funny as well! Highly recommend this amazing memorable experience!

Best family outing ever!
This was such a fun, amazing experience for our kids! We stayed in west Maui at the Grand Wailea, and it was well worth the drive over to Lahaina to do the Atlantis sub. The crew was incredible and went out of their way to make it so fun for our 5 and 7 year old. We saw so many fish and sharks, and it was the perfect balance of fun and educational. We would totally do this again!
