This place can be considered "strategic" since it unites the two historical parts of the city, the Old Town and the 19th century Extention, designed with references to masonic values. The Catalonia square itself is also full of veiled symbols.
Here we will stroll through the picturesque narrow streets of medieval Barcelona and explore the rests of the Roman wall, the place of foundation of the city, the Cathedral and the romanesque Saint Lucia chapel among other historical sites.
