This was really a full day trip, what I thought was going to be about 4/5 hours turned into a full day. Mustapha who was our host was great, kept in touch before hand with collection details and was there on time, he told us the plan for the day and what to expect. 2st we did the camel ride which was very good and well organised, the camel guys took lots of pics and videos for us and nothing was too much trouble. Then we went off into the hills for lunch and despite being a bit wary of it, it turned out to be delicious, great location looking into the Atlas mountains which still had some snow on them, bright sunny day and good food, was really a great experience. We then drove for a while until we reached the area before the waterfall, after a 30 mins walk/hike we found a fantastic waterfall which was really quite strong. a 30 mins walk back and then the hour or so drive home. If you want to escape the madness of Marrakesh for a few hours I would highly recommend this trip.
Very nice trip. Enjoyed the meal and camel rides. Redouane was very knowledgeable and a very nice person.
Our guide Abdou was nice. The 1h30 hike to discover the waterfall was nice and the meal at 70 MAD was delicious but we were in a little hurry to leave. Then we drove a lot to get on the camels and the walk is really short and not with a crazy landscape.
So for the price I paid nothing to say 19 euros for 3 a day with meals included. A great opportunity. Nevertheless, the departure did not take place in front of the riad. We had to run very early in the morning to find the first meeting point, we did not find it, then we had to take a taxi to pick up the other indicated hotel. I was notified the day before at 9:30 p.m. of the organization... a little bit right. During the meal the guide comes to me and tells me the meal is not understood although it is well stipulated that it was included. A pleasant day all the same.
The trip was easy to arrange. We were collected and dropped off at our hotel which made attending the trip easier. Yusuf the guide was lovely and shared interesting information about the Atlas mountains and villages where he is originally from. Our trip started with a dress up in bedouin style and camel ride and included delicious Moroccan tea, breakfast and lunch and the views were absolutely beautiful. The second part of the trip was a visit to the argan oil centre run by women, it smells lovely. The last part of the trip was a hike up to the Atlas mountains to see the waterfall, and the scenery is worth the hike. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to get out of Marrakech and see more of Morocco and what it has to offer.
Brilliant Trip, I loved it - amazing guide and brilliant people. Lunch stop was great, views extraordinary only criticism was an abundance of Berber sellers that were way too persistent
I recommend this tour to those who are a few days in Marrakesh, as you can live two different experiences in one day: camel ride and walking through the valleys of the Atlas mountain. On this tour we passed through nature, saw Berber communities, found sales of local products, was in a waterfall and had the opportunity to eat the Tagine - typical Moroccan dish Positive point: collect and deliver at the hotel where we are staying. The negative aspect I have to point out was the failure of communication. When we booked, we had the information that started at 9:00. On the day we received a message informing the time of pickup at the hotel (at 8:20), with only 20 minutes in advance, which generated a delay on our part and dissatisfaction to the driver. But overall it was a good experience and I recommend.
Hamza!!! You are such an amazing soul! Thank you so much for this tour and showing us a beautiful part of your culture. The hike was fantastic and although steep and tough at times is was so incredibly worth it! The food we had was beyond perfection and you really made us feel welcome and showed us the best time. I loved seeing the Argan oil establishment and their products are fantastic. You are amazing as a guide and we are so honored to have been taken by you! The mountains really took my breath away and all of the information you provided along the way was enriching and educational. We really appreciate you and your heart so much. ♥️♥️♥️
My son (8yrs) and myself had an amazing time. The treck was not too much for my son either. He enjoyed every minute, especially the camels. Our guide Yassine was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend
The hike is very steep, if you are over 50 and unfit it is hard going. Camel ride and dress up in moroccon clothing was great. Lunch was good but small amount for €7. Overall this was a great trip especially for the price. We both really enjoyed it and would recommend 😎
