"How the Football Match Experience at Maracanã Unfolds – Step by Step" Once your booking is confirmed for the selected date, at least one week before the match, we will contact you to guide you through a facial biometric registration process. Important: There are no physical tickets for Fluminense or Flamengo matches — both clubs require facial recognition to enter the stadium. Your face will be your ticket, and registering properly is essential. We'll send: • A video tutorial, • The official biometric registration link, • Your personal data summary (to be used exactly as submitted), • Clear instructions on how to complete the process. Make sure you complete the facial biometric registration before match day and let us know once it's done so we can validate your entry with the local coordination team.
"2 Days or 1 Day Before the Match" We will contact you again to: * Confirm the exact meeting time, * Share the meeting point details, * Provide our emergency contact number and your guide’s name. Meeting times vary depending on kickoff (generally between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM), and the experience lasts around 6 hours total. "On Match Day" We will meet at our fixed point in Ipanema: * Nossa Senhora da Paz Subway Station During the ride, your bilingual guide will provide context about the stadium, teams, and what to expect from the passionate fans. They’ll also escort you through the biometric checkpoints, security, and into your seats. You’ll be supported from start to finish — no stress, just football. After the match, we’ll drive back to Ipanema, where you can take a taxi or Uber back to your hotel.
"About Maracanã and the Clubs" The Maracanã Stadium is one of the most legendary football venues in the world. It has hosted historic moments like: * The 1950 and 2014 World Cup Finals, * The 2016 Olympic Games, * Concerts by international artists, * And countless classic football derbies. It’s currently managed and shared by two of Brazil’s most iconic teams: * Flamengo * Fluminense These clubs have millions of fans and play high-level matches across multiple competitions, including: * Campeonato Brasileiro (Brasileirão) – Brazil’s national league * Copa do Brasil – top domestic cup * Copa Libertadores – South America's most prestigious tournament * Recopa Sul-Americana, Supercopa do Brasil * Campeonato Carioca – the traditional Rio state championship No matter the game, the atmosphere is electrifying — with chants, drums, flags, and fans living every minute with intensity.

Very well organised. Meeting point was easy to get to and well organised. Meet a group of people and get an organised bus to the game with local guides who are also fans. Very passionate and attentive. Vinny and Bruno were both very good. Makes going to the game really easy!
It was an incredibly fun match and everything was well organised. Our guide was great. I highly recommend booking this.
Tack så mycket för din recension! ⚽ Vi är väldigt glada att du uppskattade upplevelsen på Maracanã och att guiden gjorde skillnad för din dag! Vi uppskattar rekommendationen mycket och hoppas att vi ses igen!
I took the tour believing that I was quite well since I am a footballer , obviously the game was a spectacle but 150€ that I paid when talking to people on my side had cost them up to 3 and 4 times less and another if you take a bus but to return I had to pay Uber since there disappeared everyone stayed waiting in the area that they said like half an hour
Thank you for your feedback. Your booking was made last minute, and as explained several times, entry to the stadium requires mandatory facial biometric registration. There is no physical ticket — the biometric approval is the ticket. We contacted you multiple times in advance to assist you with this process, but unfortunately the registration was not completed before arrival at the meeting point. Even so, our team made an exceptional effort on site to help you regularize the situation and ensure you could enter the stadium. This required considerable coordination from our staff. Regarding transportation, our procedure is always to stay together as a group, but you left and stayed by yourself. At the end of the match, the guide clearly defined a meeting point and time. However, you were not present there. We contacted you and learned you were in a different location from the agreed meeting point. After waiting approximately 30 minutes — with the entire group on board, we had to proceed with the return transfer, as we cannot delay all other tourists indefinitely. We understand your frustration, but the arrangements and instructions were clearly communicated. When procedures are not followed, it can unfortunately lead to situations like this. We remain committed to providing organized and safe experiences for all our guests. Best regards.
We were extremely happy with the communication and organization of the tour company, which made a trip to the Maracana user-friendly. The meeting point in Ipanema was clear, and they had helped with the facial ID for the stadium and were generally friendly and efficient. Although I don’t think it’s a commitment, they actually did drop off people on the way back through Copacabana and Ipanema to the original spot, which was very convenient for us. Bear in mind the league’s date for our match changed several times back and forward by 1 day, so be prepared to switch out other events or tours. But we were extraordinarily lucky our fixture turned out to be Flamengo’s championship-winning match. We utterly loved it and are very grateful to the tour company for making this extraordinary experience possible.
It was a great experience from start to finish, I was guided from the moment of booking to the moment I finished the experience
One of the highlights of my trip to Rio. Anderson was an excellent guide. Easy transfer by van straight to the stadium. Everything was straight forward and it was an excellent at atmosphere. Would highly recommend this tour!
My husband is a huge european football fan and it was a first visit to Brazil. Seeing a match felt like an exciting thing to do, Based on the positive reviews we booked this option and it was fabulous. The tour company reached out quickly and was super responsive to my many texts! Instructions for meeting point were clear and the guide easy to find….our guide Luis made the day. The second we met him we felt like we were in great and safe hands. We rode in a private minibus to the stadium; Luis told stories along the way; he escorted us into the stadium. He counted us often to ensure the gang was constantly accounted for both coming and exiting the game. Our game had 70k+ fans. Our seats were great, but fans are very passionate and pretty much stand the whole game!!! If you love soccer then this is a great option!!!
This is so incredible for us as international travelers to be able to watch a live game for an important match . The stadium is very impressive.
Thank you so much for your review! 🙏😊 We’re glad to hear you had an amazing experience, and that Luiz and the team handled everything so efficiently, even with the biometrics process. 🌟 Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope you have more fantastic moments at Maracanã!
Amazing experience, as a tourist, it might be a bit tricky to get into the stadium especially with the biometrics process, Luiz and team handled everything so efficiently, would definitely recommend to anyone considering a football match.

Fully recommended. Punctual, formal and professional. It was a gift for my husband for his birthday taking advantage of the fact that we were traveling in Rio. At first he was not funny about the security issue but we ended up delighted, very sure. Gabriel has been our guide and on the way to the stadium he has explained the history of both teams and Maracana. Rafael received us at the meeting point and very well too.
Muito obrigado por compartilhar sua experiência! 😊 Ficamos felizes que tenha tido uma experiência tão positiva e que Gabriel e Rafael tenham tornado o tour tão especial. Esperamos vê-la novamente em breve! 🌟
