This was an incredible experience unlike anything else in Tokyo. HANKO stamps are ancient parts of Japanese culture and are still part of the modern identity. Getting to learn about and carve a stamp under a master artisan was an incredible opportunity. Truly a highlight of my time here.

It was a great experience and very intimate. We did the activity on the counter right next to the owner . The price is definately worth the experience especially since you get to make and take your own HANKO with you. A superb unique souvenir. You have plenty of time to make your HANKO, there was no rushing at all.

An amazing experience Mari is so nice and helpful! Sat down with us the whole experience and helped us communicate with the teacher! We came to make stamps for our family. We learned about the history of the stamps. We made our own stamps. This was a fun project to do. Everyone was great assistance helping us pick out our symbol prior to starting. I highly recommend this activity.
