Magical Milwaukee Scavenger Hunt

This was a total waste of month and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It focused on one corner of the city that was pretty dead mid day on the weekend. Even the coffee shop meetup point was closed. There are so many better parts of the city we later realized! Didn’t include any history or interesting information about the city, which we were really hoping for. Definitely didn’t take up the 2 hours it was supposed to. Give Chat GBT a thoughtful prompt and have a better experience and save yourself the money.

It was so much fun! Once we realized that the hunt is what we make of it, we started improvising and doing so much better. We all had to download WhatsApp and create our group. The organizers sent us a file with a list of tasks we could complete to earn points. We then just randomly picked different ones and (dare I say) came up with our version of what could pass as a completed assignment. When we completed each mini-adventure, we took a picture or video and sent it to the organizers. They were very encouraging (and funny) and kept us going. We didn't need to (or want to) walk very far and found many things that could be done within a few blocks. Essentially, we were trying to get as many done as possible while having the most fun. There were no prizes (other than having a great time), and we didn't compete against anyone (so no pressure to do things quickly or perfectly). We had to be very "creative" to accomplish as many tasks as we did, which resulted in a ton of laughs. If you participate in this scavenger hunt, don't take it too seriously. Try to have a great time, and I'm sure you'll end up with a million or so points in the end, along with some great memories!

It was fun but I was expecting more than a group chat. I thought there’d be like a virtual guide or something. What I and my kids did we could have done without paying money. It wasn’t bad or anything it was just so-so.

We had a great time doing this scavenger hunt. Laughed a lot. Only downside was we weren’t sure how to start - kind of confusing.

Do not recommend. They charge by the head even for children who are not on a phone. I'd understand space and work capacity if it was an in person led program but seeing it's a virtual hunt that literally creates no additional work for the remote host it seems silly. Also I don't understand why each person needs it on the phone when we need to take selfies, etc. Maybe I'm getting old and ornery but not the experience we had expected. Fortunately they did credit us but not sure we will ever use it. One activity was to "conduct a social experiment". Not sure what they meant but wasn't a fan.

My friend and I (two middle-aged moms ☺️) did this scavenger hunt as part of a birthday weekend — we had SO much fun! The clues weren’t difficult but were just challenging enough to keep the fun going all the way through. We darted around town, laughed and enjoyed. And what a great way to see and learn about the city! Will definitely do another Alley Kat Adventure tour in another city.

This was a great way to spend time with family seeing the sights and history of Milwaukee. We had lots of laughs doing the challenges.

We were looking for something unique to do to celebrate a birthday. This fit the bill perfectly. Just the right amount of time and variety. Fortunately, we had beautiful weather, and our cheerleader was amazing.
