Terrific introduction to exploring Lyon

Tour got cancelled 30min before the starting time
I had half day in Lyon and made a reservation for a 3pm guided tour. Unfortunately they cancelled the tour only 30min before the starting time. Very disappointed, as it disrupted other arrangements of the day.

Great walk with wonderful guide
Our tour guide Manel was wonderful. She knew so much about Lyon and its history and its place in French and world history. It was such a pleasure learning from someone who loved the subject so much. The walk was easy, and we saw many beautiful sights and found many places to eat the local specialties.

Lovely girl guide with no idea about local history
Sadly Macarena just pleasantly walked us round the sites of Lyon with out being able to answer any questions about the city’s history.For almost £60 this was very disappointing.Would we take a gamble on a trip advisor guide again I’m afraid not.

The guide was knowledgeable about the history and culture of Lyon. The route was fairly flat making the tour very walkable.

Out walking tour of Lyon...
Out walking tour of Lyon was excellent. With a small group we were able to easily access lots of small spaces ahead of the larger groups. Our guide, Angela was very informative and showed us lots of things we would never have found on our own. She also sent links to other sites not on the tour that we had expressed an interest in. Would definitely recommend this tour if you want to get a good sense of Lyon.

Love Lyon!!!
We had a wonderful walking tour of Lyon with Manlee. We had the good fortune to have her all to ourselves for the duration of the tour, which lasted 2.5 hours. She is a delightful young lady whose knowledge of Lyon was excellent. We covered quite a bit of territory. She also recognized my wife’s interest in shopping and provided her with the opportunity to purchase a silk scarf. Thank you Manlee for teaching us about Lyon’s history and sharing your love for your adopted city.
