Wonderful sail with our awesome crew, Thelma and Jane!! They were so professional, yet warm and welcoming too. Very generous with the delicious rum punch, and beer, etc. We really enjoyed hearing about the boat, their backgrounds and the island.

A top notch operator. Boats are exceptionally clean with life jackets in plain view. Comfortable. Great staff. We had rain but they put the sails up anyway, sailed towards blue sky and put up rain shields.
What a Fabulous Sunset Cruise!! Staff was amazing and the SUNSET OMG!!!! Super friendly, the Winds were good!!! Highly Recommend
We booked the "luxury private sunset" excursion and the experience was incredible! From start to finish, we were welcomed and served in ideal conditions! Thanks to John (the captain) and Jeanne (the hostess) for this wonderful experience that we will gladly repeat!
This was a truly outstanding tour on a beautiful, large, two-year old catamaran. The tour includes pickup and drop off at the major hotels located on the Motu. We stayed at The Westin and were picked by the tour operator about 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. The tour starts and ends at the St Regis, which is where the catamaran is berthed. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly captain and his first mate, Jane. We were offered water, beer, juice or rum punch and light snacks consisting of fruit and chips/crisps. The cruise lasts approximately two hours and includes some stunning sunsets. The seas are calm in the lagoon and the catamaran is extremely large and stable so no need to worry about motion sickness. The crew also provides beach towels which came in handy, so no need to bring any from the hotel…just bring your camera and you’ll be all set! We wore our swimsuits under our clothes as we wanted to sit on the nets, but you certainly don’t need to wear a swimsuit if you don’t want to. This was definitely a highlight of our trip and would highly recommend it!
Do not book this excursion, especially if you are staying at the Conrad. This excursion was the one dark spot in an otherwise perfect vacation. Transit to the boat took one hour and the trip back afterward in the pitch dark took an hour and 20 minutes. All of this would have been fine if we'd been in a decent boat but they ferry their passengers back and forth in a tremendously uncomfortable and utilitarian shuttle boat. Our trip on that thing was longer than our entire sunset cruise. Speaking of...there were only two staff on the entire boat. They were working their tails off but the rig was clearly understaffed. The "snacks" were not as described. Rather we were served some grapes and potato chips on this "luxury" cruise. The cruise itself consisted of the ship sailing back and forth in the bay just outside the Four Seasons/Saint Regis area. The whole thing was a joke. Better to book with any other company than this one!
Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to read that this experience did not meet your expectations, especially as it was the only disappointing part of your vacation. We sincerely apologize for the length of the speedboat transfers. Unfortunately, on the evening of your excursion, there were an unusually high number of guests staying at the resorts around the island, which resulted in longer pickup and drop-off times than usual. We completely understand how frustrating this must have been. We would also like to clarify that our shuttle speedboat is a brand-new vessel, delivered just six months ago. It was specifically designed to provide a comfortable and safe transfer experience for our guests, and we are sorry that it did not feel that way during your trip. Regarding the sunset cruise itself, we take your comments very seriously. We will be discussing your feedback with our operations team to better understand what happened that evening. Our sunset cruises are intended to take place either on the north or the south side of the island to offer the best scenery and experience, and they certainly should not be limited to sailing only in front of the St. Regis and Four Seasons resorts. We are also sorry that you felt the cruise was understaffed. Our shared sunset cruises are always operated with both a captain and a dedicated hostess on board, and we deliberately limit the number of guests to a maximum of 14 people to ensure attentive and personalized service. We are sorry if this was not the impression you had during your experience. In fact, the quality of our onboard service is consistently one of the aspects most appreciated by our guests, and it is something we take great pride in. We also appreciate your comments regarding the refreshments served on board. We will review this with our team to ensure that the experience remains consistent with the level of quality we strive to offer. Thank you again for your honest feedback. It helps us improve, and we hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide the memorable experience that so many of our guests enjoy. Kind regards, The Management Team
The catamaran boat was roomy and the voyage was smooth and they used wind vs motors to sail toward the setting sun. They served fruit and drinks and provided information regarding the island
Best excursion!! The crew at the top with little care. The catamaran is beautiful!! Thank you, Dylan.
We were picked up alongside two other couples and taken to the hotel where the catamaran is moored at the St Regis. As we arrived at the jetty we watched two couples staying in this particular hotel being led onto the boat and settled onto the two front facing small sofas. Clearly organised so they ensure their own hotel residents get the best experience. By the time we boarded with the other two couples, both in front of us as we boarded, one couple took the side facing sofa on the left the other on the right. That left us the seating area behind the bar. There was no suggestion that we move around to make it a similar experience for us all. Drinks were limited. Rum punch or sugar laden soft drinks and some crisps were handed around. That was it. When we got to the sunset the crew took photographs but before the sun actually set - the reason we had booked - we didn't want the Instagram photos but the actual experience - the catamaran had turned around and was heading back. This tour was to celebrate a very special birthday and it was simply a mistake to book it. Not worth the money and badly organised and last to board gets the worst experience. Find something cheaper as this isn't what it says on the tin. Unless of course you are staying in the hotel where the catamaran is. Then it's worth every penny. It looked amazing for the two couples at the front of the catamaran. They got that once in a lifetime experience. We travel the world and hesitate before leaving poor reviews, but this was so disappointing that we feel we have no choice but to warn others.
Dear Mr and Mrs Spaggia, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We genuinely appreciate your feedback and are truly sorry to hear that your tour did not meet your expectations, especially for such a special occasion. We want to assure you that we do not prioritize seating based on hotel affiliation. Our seating arrangement is entirely random and based on who boards the catamaran first, as well as where guests choose to sit. We aim to provide all our guests with an equal opportunity to enjoy the experience. Regarding the sunset viewing, we would like to clarify that our crew ensures the catamaran remains out until after the sunset, which takes place around 6:30 PM during this time of year, with the tour concluding at 7:00 PM. We strive to provide our guests with the full sunset experience. As for the drinks and snacks, we offer a selection that includes our homemade rum punch, local beers, fruit juices, and water. We are uncertain about the mention of sugary soft drinks, as we did not serve those. We will also be following up with the crew who conducted your tour, as we do not understand how the experience could have gone so poorly. We have received very positive feedback for the past 10 years, and your insights will help us improve. As a gesture of goodwill, we would like to offer you a complimentary tour for your next visit to Bora Bora. We hope to provide you with the memorable experience you deserve. Thank you once again for your feedback. We hope to welcome you back soon. Warm regards, Alexane Gerbouin - Executive Assistant
