Luxor East Bank Private Experience with Authentic Cooking Class

I can’t recommend this traditional Egyptian experience highly enough. It’s a must do!! This is mine and my husband’s first visit to Egypt and having done quite a few tourist sites, I was looking for something authentic Today was spent with some of the most welcoming and kind-hearted people we've ever met.
After visiting the Luxor Museum and picking up a few things from the local market, we were invited to join a local family on their farm. There, we had the most unforgettable experience of learning how to make ancient style bread, along with other traditional Egyptian dishes.
Spending the entire day with them was nothing short of magical, so grateful for their warmth and kindness Our hearts are full, deeply moved, and touched. The farm was very close, so we didn’t have to drive too far. The tour guide Ahmed is absolutely brilliant. He went over and beyond to ensure this was a perfect experience. His knowledge of all was absolutely exponential. Again, I highly recommend! This is a must do

After a traditional Egyptian breakfast and some shopping, all with a guided tour of the city of Luxor, accompanied by our super Francophone guide Mohamed , the family welcomed us with great hospitality in their beautiful house and garden very typical. She shared her know-how and traditions: preparing and baking bread in a traditional earthen oven, picking vegetables and fruits for lunch, preparing lunch. The meal was then enjoyed in a small haven of peace, discoveries with incredible flavors, fresh mango juice, local tea... It was a real moment of exchange and sharing with a family with a big heart. Their hospitality is so great that in one day we became attached to this beautiful family that we did not want to leave. An authentic moment, etched in our memories. I recommend this visit to all those who really want to know Egypt, meet Egyptians and share with them a rich timeless moment.

We have spend two days with our guide Ahmed and we have a really great time ! We have our good and bad time in Egypt. And having a guide like Ahmed will only give you the great time ! No more scam, no more disappointment and confusion with all the chaos and misleading information in Egypt. He can arrange car and experience that you would like to have. Ahmed have great knowledge of Egypt history and culture. With his 18+ years experience as a tour guide with proper license, I highly recommend anyone who would like to travel to Egypt ! The car he arranged for us is so new with professional driver. After the tour, we met up with the Ahmed and his other tour guide friend (professional one), we’ve learn a lot about the Egypt community and culture from them.
