This amazing 2.5-hour horseback tour will take you across the crystal clear waters of the Mameyes River, through a tropical forest and along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean at Luquillo Beach. Enjoy incredible views and experience the stunning flora and fauna of this unique ecosystem as you explore it on horseback. This tour departs from Carabalí Rainforest Park and takes you into the foothills of El Yunque National Forest. Our extraordinary horseback ride takes you alongside Mameyes River, whose fresh clear waters are perfect for cooling off during the half-hour swimming and refreshments break in the two-hour tour. We give you a lesson in horseback riding, including safety rules and regulations, before departing. Our experienced staff determines the appropriate horse for you in accordance with weight, height, and experience.

- Minimum age: 12 yrs (Under 18 must be accompanied by adult)
- Max. Weight is 235 pounds (if you exceed the weight limit, PLEASE DO NOT BOOK you will be weighed upon arrival and not be allowed to ride)
- Attire: Long pants, sneakers or boots (closed shoes required - no flip flops allowed).
- Must arrive promptly 45 minutes before your start time to check in
- Not recommended for travelers who have had back, hip or knee surgery

Iván was the best!!! At the rio he let us really enjoy ourselves! He even painted traditional Taino on us which felt amazing with us actually being Puerto Rican felt like we were home
