Lumbarda-Sunset Kayaking Experience with picnic: Wine and Sweets

A review with a difference…as we didn’t actually go! This is a review of the people who run the trip. We were booked to go and were greatly looking forward to it but we both got food poisoning on the morning of the trip. We waited until a couple of hours before the start time but had to contact the team who ran the trip to cancel. She immediately asked if we wanted an alternative date but as it was our last day this wasn’t possible so she then offered a full refund, which trip advisor have honoured. In the circumstances, you really can’t ask for better service. Just wish we could have done the trip!

Boris and Ivka were wonderful and friendly. We were picked up right in front of our apartment and set up with our preference of single or double kayaks. Boris was a great instructor and knowledgeable guide. The various islands we stopped at were beautiful and we had a great experience socializing with the others on the tour. The homemade wine and pastries were absolutely delicious. This experience was a true highlight of our trip. Afterwards, Boris even reached out to share tips and recommendations for the rest of our trip. I give my highest recommendation for this experience and would truly give it 6 stars if I could!

Our first time booking an activity with TripAdvisor and it was amazing! Everything went super smooth 🥰 Ivka and Boris were super polite and friendly. The kayak was very fun and I felt safe all the way. When we would stop at the islands Boris would tell interesting facts about the history of the area and the sweet treats we had while talking were very tasty! Then the wine… no words! Was the best Grk we had while on the island. Thank you guys for providing such a nice experience for the tourists. Wish you all the success!!!

Absolutely amazing tour. Boris our guide was excellent. A great mix of kayaking, history and some delicious snacks. Watching the sunset with a glass of Grk in hand was so beautiful. Highly recommend tour.

Would absolutely recommend this experience! The guide was extremely friendly and helpful, and he was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting facts about the region and the islands. The kayaking itself was also very fun, as were the stops on the different islands. The homemade pastries and the wine were really nice as well. Overall it was a very pleasant afternoon and we would absolutely do it again.

We had an awesome time kayaking with Boris! Boris was an excellent host and despite being relatively inexperienced kayakers we felt totally safe under his guidance. He provided wonderful insights and facts about the islands we ventured to. The treats and wine that he brought along for the picnic were all delicious! The tour was an awesome way to get to know this region of Croatia and we’d recommend it to anyone else travelling to Korcula.

We highly recommend the sunset tour with Boris. The trip is very memorable. Boris is the perfect guide not only giving excellent guidance paddling on the water but gives a great tour and history of some of the islands off korcula and lumbarda. The kayaks are really easy to master on the water and towards the end of the tour it was lovely to rest and sample some excellent homemade desserts and delicious wine . The last paddle back to lumbarda in the sunset on the sea is something we’ll remember fondly forever. Thanks Boris!

Andre and Boris were exceptional hosts. They communicated with me before the trip so I was well prepared. The stops on the various islands were fun and Andre provided a lot of historical information. The pace was perfect and I can’t imagine a better way to watch sunset.

This was such a wonderful experience! Boris was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and overall a great guide. This experience is well worth your time and money. You will get out in the water, learn about the area, and experience some local foods.
