Description
Spirit of Korkyra is a small, family-run business - not a franchise. Boris and Ivka built it from scratch, and Ivka grew up right here in Lumbarda. We take you to places bigger tours can't reach, like Gubavac, an island not visited by taxi boats or large groups. On the way, you'll see Vrnik's centuries-old stone quarries and Badija's monastery and free-roaming deer - a mix of history, nature, and quiet coastline in one trip. What you eat and drink along the way is genuinely homemade: Grk wine from our own family production in Lumbarda, and Klašun pastries made from a traditional family recipe. Nothing store-bought, nothing generic. With a max of 10 guests, we adjust the pace and stops to the group - this isn't a fixed script; it's a tour shaped around who's paddling with us that day.

Pickup Locations & Times
Travelers staying in the old town of Korčula can be picked up at the main bus station in Korčula town 20 min before the tour starts. Travelers staying in private apartments reachable by car can be picked up at their apartments at approx. 20 min before the tour starts. Travelers staying in hotels reachable by car can be picked up at approx. 20 min before the tour starts. We will notify our guests about the pickup-up time and location.

This tour is truly an unforgettable experience. Kayaking between the islands was beautiful and so enjoyable, but what really made the experience special was Boris. He is an incredibly passionate and knowledgeable guide, and we loved learning about the history of the islands and the local area along the way. The small group size makes the tour feel really personal, and you are so well looked after throughout. We were also treated to delicious local delicacies made by Boris and Ivka’s family, which was such a lovely and authentic touch. We were so impressed by the entire experience, and especially by the warmth and kindness of Boris and Ivka. We could not recommend this tour more highly!
From gliding from island to island, tasting some local food and drink and learning a little about the area, it was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was very calm and taught us about the local area. Would not think twice about booking this experience and would say it’s a must do while you are on Korcula Island!
There are some people who are able to instantly connect with others, and Boris is definitely one of them. I discovered his tours by chance, and the fact that he offers experiences for small groups immediately appealed to me. You can tell right away that he himself has a deep connection with, and is in harmony with, the sea and nature that he invites you to explore and experience during his kayak tours. Every moment felt thoughtfully planned and carefully calibrated to suit every kind of participant, especially those with no previous experience: the explanations of how the kayak works, the reassurance, the attention to safety, and the breaks from paddling as we moved from one island to another. The tour with Boris — and his wife Ivka, who lovingly and skilfully prepares wonderful traditional local pastries that are served during the tour, together with a delicious glass of Grk — is not some standardised tourist service. It feels more like being taken by the hand and welcomed into a wonderful, warm adventure, in true harmony with the nature and sea of Korčula. It was an experience that felt genuine, peacwfull, personal and deeply connected to this beautiful place. Highly recommended!
We could not recommend this kayak tour more highly. Every part of the experience exceeded our expectations, from the excellent communication before we arrived to the detailed instructions about what to bring, what was included, and exactly where to meet. The true highlight, though, was the guides. They were warm, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. I was kayaking with my five-year-old son, and when the current became challenging, they thoughtfully attached a tow rope to our tandem kayak so we could continue enjoying the experience without stress. That small act of kindness made all the difference. Throughout the day they kept the group engaged with stories about the area's history, shared local wine and delicious homemade pastries, and brought us to some of the most beautiful beaches and islands we visited during our time in Croatia. It felt less like a tour and more like spending the day with friends who were excited to share their favorite places with us. If you're considering a kayak tour, book this one. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

We enjoyed a wonderful morning kayaking around the islands off Korcula with business owner Boris and our guide Andrej. Instructions were explained thoroughly before we set off and once on the water nothing felt rushed and included informative facts about the various islands we stopped at. All pre activity queries were promptly dealt with and Boris was more than happy to pick us up and drop us back to our accommodation in Korcula Town. We especially enjoyed the home made snacks and locally produced wine, especially as the latter was served in proper glasses, rather than cheap plastic cups! Would thoroughly recommend Thai tour to others looking for something different during their stay on the island.

What a fantastic day, we absolutely loved every part of it. Both Boris and Andre were the perfect mix of professional and relaxed so that everyone of all ages had a great experience. We learnt a lot, ate delicious food and wine for the adults at the end of the trip. Our ideal day together and met some new friends along the way.

This was a fantastic experience! It is run by a local family and you can really feel they want to share the best that Korcula has to offer. Very friendly and genuinely invested in having the best experience by sampling home made delicacies and wine. Cannot recommend this enough!

Boris is the absolute best!! I had an amazing time on this tour. Boris is very knowledgeable, kind, and passionate about history/culture, as well as the outdoors. His wife’s cookies and wine were great, too. 10/10 would recommend!

We spent a magical day on the water with our guide Boris. He was so knowledgeable and friendly, and catered to the needs of everyone in the group. We got to see a number of different islands and learned the interesting history of korcula. The homemade wine and pastries were delicious. All in all, a great trip for the family.

Anyone visiting Korčula should book this tour. It is the perfect way to see the islands neighbouring Korčula, as well as embrace the culture through tasting the local delicacies and learning its rich history. Everything was very well organised; the pick up point was clearly communicated to us on the app and the amount of time we spent on each island was perfect. We really felt we could relax and take everything in. The kayaking is beginner friendly too and we felt safe with our tour guide.
