The Navajo name for Lower Antelope Canyon is Hasdeztwazi or “Spiral Rock Arches.” This incredible canyon has been created over many thousands of years by the relentless forces of water and wind, slowly carving and sculpting the sandstone into forms, textures, and shapes which we observe today. The views in Lower Antelope Canyon change constantly as the sun moves across the sky, filtering lights softly across the stone walls. These ever-moving sun angles bounce light back and forth across the narrow canyon’s walls, creating a dazzling display of color, light, and shadow.

The canyon must be amazing but the weather made it impossible. Tour was canceled and we couldn't reschedual...we will revisit this provider next time
Amazing lower antelope canyon, it's best canyon I never seen. A guide was helpful and knowledgeable. A small group was good enough for everyone have a chance to take photos. I think the company organised and controlled well.
This requires a person to be in good shape with no health issues who can climb ladders and stairs, and who have a very good sense of balance. Both a friend and I had health issues due to the strenuous nature of the tour. We were in danger of fainting because it was so hot and difficult. The communication about the tour was incorrect and the list of what people can bring needs more than a day’s notice. The Navajo reservation has a different time zone and that was upsetting because we thought we missed the tour
It was incredible! There are a lot of people inside the narrow canyon and the line through it moves very slowly. There are some steep ladders to climb up and down.
Great tour and nice information. The only drawback for me it was steep stairs to get down to it. The canyon is absolutely beautiful though!
We had the best Navajo guide, named Ro!! He made our journey through the canyon very personanable with his knowledge of the creation of the area. The cherry on the top was him playing the flute for our group! He also took lots of pictures of us in special places in the canyon. Worth every penny! Please show him your appreciation by a nice gratuity ! 💰 ❤️
Our guide, Hunter, seemed to have a problem with our group from the very beginning, which completely caught us off guard. He repeatedly asked if we had a problem, even though we didn’t, and kept instigating the situation by insisting that it seemed like we did. We were part of a tour group of about 12 people, yet for some reason, our group was the only one being singled out. At one point, Hunter even called for backup while we were doing the exact same thing as everyone else—taking pictures. The person who came over then threatened us, saying that if we took our phones out to “record” again, we would be escorted out. Being escorted out seemed to be their favorite threat throughout the experience. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that other people in our tour group, including families, noticed the way Hunter and the other staff were treating us and commented on it as well. I would not recommend this experience. You’re paying your money to enjoy a tour, not to be singled out, antagonized, and treated like a criminal when you haven’t done anything wrong. The way Hunter handled the situation was completely unnecessary and took away from what should have been an enjoyable experience.
Thanks for your feedback. We feel sorry about your experience. Rregarding the guide, basically the guide should make sure everyone would follow up with the rules which are stated on tour listing so that the whole group could go through the canyon smoothly. For more details, we will need to look into more information with the guide. If possible you could share your booking information with us by email. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding.
Our experience with Joy Fun Tour LLC was extremely disappointing because of our guide, Hunter. At the beginning of the tour, my friend and I were told to purchase shirts from the gift shop because we were wearing sports bras. Although we had seen many photos of guests from other tour companies dressed similarly, we respected the rule, purchased the shirts, and entered without causing any problem. We briefly removed the shirts for a quick group selfie and were already putting them back on when Hunter began speaking to us very rudely. He repeatedly threatened to remove us from the tour if we were going to be “disruptive,” even though we had apologized, complied, and clearly told him we simply wanted to continue the tour. He continued asking whether we “had a problem” at least five times, seemingly trying to provoke a reaction so he would have a reason to kick us out. We remained quiet because we were shocked and did not want the situation to escalate. Even other families in the group appeared confused by his unnecessarily aggressive behavior. We understand that companies have rules, and we had no issue following them. The problem was the disrespectful, confrontational, and intimidating way Hunter treated us after we had already complied. A tour that should have been a special experience was made uncomfortable and humiliating. Based on how we were treated, I cannot recommend this company.
Thanks for your feedback. We feel sorry about your experience. About the dress code, closed-toed shoes are recommended. We discourage skirts and dresses due to the ladders and the terrain. We abided by a No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service policy. If you are wearing undergarments (bras, sports bras, etc.) or swimwear (bikini tops, etc.) ONLY, you will not be allowed on tour. We ask our guests to dress modestly because we do accommodate families. And for your feedbacks regarding the guide, basically the guide should make sure everyone would follow up with the rules which are stated on tour listing so that the whole group could go through the canyon smoothly. For more details, we will need to look into more information with the guide. If possible you could share your booking information with us by email. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding.
