Explore the naturally-made, colorful labyrinthine pathways of one of the most popular slot canyons in the world: the Lower Antelope Canyon. Follow a local Navajo guide on a walking tour of this canyon, learning about these curious rock formations and the history of the land.
Head straight into the twisting passageways of the canyon, marveling at its brilliant windswept patterns, its colorful towering walls, and winding corridors. Feel the grandeur and the tranquility of your naturally-made surroundings as your local Navajo guide goes into detail about these formations.
Walk back up eight different staircases, trying not to let your jaw drop too low as you see a kaleidoscope of bright colors swirl around you on the surrounding Navajo sandstone. Created by rain, wind, and erosion this sandstone has been shaped and colored into what you now see over years.

Just okay
You must be there 30 min before or they will cancel your reservation. This experience will be rushed and you'll have to hurry and take pics. Ppl will be in the way taking pics and you may not get the shot you're looking for. Our guide was really nice and informative,

Time change issues.
We were coming from the Grand Canyon and originally there was a time change from PST to MST. So we lost our money (refund policy) and had to rebook for a later time. However, we learned once we got to Antelope Canyon, they are still on PST. So we would’ve made it, had we not followed Apple Maps time change. So, for anyone who does the same, don’t go off of what the time change on your phone systems tell you. It’s still PST in both the Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon.

Beautiful slot canyon
The canyon is breathtaking. The crowds however are not! Luckily our guide did a great job of keeping the group in front of us with their guide. We then had room to take in the beauty and take photos. All in all very worth it.

Tour & guide GREAT, but 3rd party ticket purchase a SCAM!
While the tour itself was great - our guide, Antonio, is very good at his job and the Lower Canyon is as beautiful as the photos on the internet! -, purchasing this tour through the website antelopecanyontours.com is a RIP-OFF! They charged $109 per person, and we drove ourselves to the location. Once we got there - Ken's Tours - the lady at the cashier's window pointed to their charge of $80 per person. While we used tripadvisor to 'detour' us to the middle-man website, we got scammed of $50!!! Do NOT pre-purchase using third-party websites! Just go to Ken's Tours and purchase directly from them (if you have a car and can drive yourself there). Hoping this helps other visitors to avoid being scammed.

Cheated!
We paid the night before, arrived when we were told, and were stopped at the gate and said there would be no tours that day and we had to turn around and leave. Still trying to get a refund!

I had 4 tickets to Lower...
I had 4 tickets to Lower Antelope Canyon for SEP 2nd, at 9:00 AM. When we arrived at the location, we were informed that the lower canyon was closed for the day due to flooding. We were never notified, and I’m still waiting for confirmation of full refund.
