Louvre Private Tour – The Essentials and More with Expert Guide

Justine was superb and I enjoyed the Louvre’s Musée des arts decoratifs very much. Viator made the whole experience seamless and easy.

The guide showed us everything we asked to see and more. He was very knowledgeable and totally at home in the Louvre. He knew exactly where to go and set a relaxed pace.

This tour included some of the important pieces of art in the Louvre including, of course, the Mona Lisa. Victor, our tour guide, had a clear plan for the significant pieces for us to see and extensive background and understanding of art which allowed him to broaden our knowledge of art and The Louvre. In addition, he was able to answer any questions we had with detailed information. Unfortunately, Victor did not use a wireless audio tour guide system which made it difficult to hear him especially because the Louvre is very crowded. Otherwise, we would have given this tour a 5 Star rating.

Monty was the best! Was able to see all the highlights and hear interesting stories and fun facts.

The guide (Diyan?) was excellent. She was helpful, accommodating, and her knowledge of the art was beyond impressive.

We were looking for a highlights tour of the Louvre and this exactly met our needs! There is so much to see and you can get lost easily in the vast rooms! With a personal phone call ahead of time we were able to schedule what we really wanted to see in the 2 hour time frame. It was perfect!! Our guide Victor was extremely knowledgeable not just about the exhibits we wanted to visit, but also about the history of the Louvre and he knew just how to get through the maze of rooms so we could visit everything we wanted to in a short time!

The Louve is a must see when in Paris! The history of the building and all the art work is amazing!! Monte was our tour guide and did a great job. Very knowledgable about the Louve and a lot of other history of France!! Great time!!

Viator did a good job with communication/ I did not realize viator subcontracts with local tour companies- our guide ended up being sick so they had to get last minute replacements so tour started 30 minutes late. But guide was very knowledgeable and did a good job of getting us to see all the highlights of the louve. Nice you get to skip all the long lines.

Alex was a very engaging, energetic and knowledgeable guide. We don’t have any background in art history, so having Alex guide us through the Louvre made the experience much more interesting and valuable. Totally worth the cost.
