Abby Road Tour

Great tour, Clive was VERY knowledgeable! Lots of information given that I was not aware of. We got to walk the famous Abby Road and all the traffic stopped for us.

Live with Clive

Clive was wonderful, really knew his stuff, as well as current history. Totally enjoyed the experience. The bus driver was great, maying hair pin turns and going down small London streets.

I Had a Great Time!

The tour guide Ian was as accomodating as he was knowledgeable -- and funny too! He just asked the 10 of us what bands we like once all on the van, then planned a route around that on the spot. First, Ian took us through Chelsea, past the pubs where the Rolling Stones would play, to Sloane Square where Brian Epstein would put the Beatles up while in London, and back toward the Chelsea Drug Store mentioned in "You Can't Always Get What You Want," though also making small detours when one of the oh so many facts teeming in his head would suddenly bubble to the surface: "I once saw Mark Knopfler down this street -- shall we go down it?" or "Haven't been here in a while -- want to see where Bob Marley and Bob Dylan would drink?". Then, Ian took us to the Royal Albert Hall so we could step out and see the Sgt-Pepper-like mural by the same guy who designed the cover for the album, then Notting Hill so we could see Jimmy Page's house and hear Ian's story of meeting him, next St. John's Wood so we could take a picture crossing Abbey Road, and finally on toward Picadilly Circus so we could pass where the Beatles did their rooftop concert, with another set of extra facts about London and movies like "Notting Hill" interspersed between.

Ian is a great guide!

Fun. Our guide Ian made it. Hard to take pics when just driving by so it was best to just listen and be in the moment.

It’s Only Rock N Roll…..

Loads of fun seeing all those amazing places I’ve spent a lifetime reading about. Also took me into parts of London I probably wouldn’t have seen. Clive the guide was hugely passionate about his work and really had a deep knowledge. Good dude.
