London: Isle of Wight Day Trip with Osborne House Entry Ticket

A Breathtaking Isle of Wight Experience Our Isle of Wight trip with Anderson Tours was more than wonderful and truly memorable. The island itself was breathtaking, the places we visited were beautiful, and the ferry crossing was an excellent experience that made the journey even more special. Our tour guide, Steve, was excellent throughout the day. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, and he shared interesting historical information and useful details about every place we visited. His explanations helped us appreciate the island and its history much more. Our driver also did a great job. The journey was long, but we felt safe and comfortable throughout, and we genuinely appreciated his professionalism and care. We visited Godshill, which was absolutely charming. The beautiful cottages, lovely streets, and peaceful atmosphere made it feel like something from a storybook. We also visited Shanklin, where we had fish and chips based on Steve’s recommendation, and we really enjoyed the experience. The highlight of the trip for us was Osborne House, the former home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. It was breathtaking and full of history. Walking through the rooms and grounds was an unforgettable experience. The only difficulty with the itinerary was that we spent a significant amount of time travelling to and from the island, which meant that our time at each location was very limited. We often felt that we were rushing in and out without enough time to properly explore the shops, cafés, food, and surroundings. The Isle of Wight is such a beautiful place and deserves more time at each stop. I would also like to provide honest feedback about the pickup arrangements at London Bridge. We were instructed to arrive before 7:00 a.m., and as a family, we made sure to be there early and on time. However, we ended up waiting for more than 45 minutes, and the coach did not leave until approximately 7:20 a.m. because we were waiting for a late passenger. The waiting location was not comfortable or suitable for such a long delay. There was no proper clean seating or comfortable place for passengers to wait. This was particularly difficult for us as a family and must have been even harder for the elderly passengers who were standing and waiting for a long time early in the morning. It would also be helpful if pickup points could be arranged near a clean café, hotel, restaurant, or another comfortable and safe waiting area, especially for families, children, elderly travelers, and passengers who arrive early as instructed. Despite these points, the Isle of Wight itself was absolutely beautiful, and the overall trip was an amazing and memorable experience. Steve was a wonderful guide, our driver was excellent, and we returned with beautiful memories of the ferry, the villages, the coast, and Osborne House. I would recommend the tour, while hoping that the pickup arrangements and the amount of time allocated on the island can be improved in the future.

I had a fabulous day the guide Steve was exceptional entertaining and knowledgeable and the driver Pavlo made me feel very safe. Unfortunately one of the emails sent to me had the wrong post code so stressful especially when I called at 7.02am to check

This was an exceptional day trip to Isle of Wright. Our guide Steve made the day much more special with his stories and different facts about the island (his family is from the island) and kudos to our pilot Pavel who drove us around. It was a bright beautiful day and we managed to cover a lot of the island and have lunch on the beach almost (thanks to Steve again for mentioning about the fisherman's hut in Shanklin beach). This was a great value for money will recommend to anyone who is looking for a day trip out of London and experience UK hospitality.

My friend from Lebanon and I went on a day trip yesterday with Anderson tours .to the Isle of White .A very enjoyable day out with our guide Steve and driver Omar Visiting Osborne house ,touring the island , ferry crossings and time in Shanklin for lunch ,godshill for tea it was a full on day . Chris had lots of interesting information to pass on and Omar was a very responsible and careful driver . Highly recommended for a tasting day out to the Isle of White

It was an excellent tour. The coach was comfortable. The guide and driver were nice one I met. He give detail of each spot. Most interesting he has given sufficient time at each site. I explored each area adequately. Overall, it was pleasant tour. -Prawin Kumar

Steve was AMAZING! He has so much knowledge that ranged from historical to hysterical. We were entertained the whole way. The driver was also a pro, navigating tiny streets with ease. This is the way to go to Isle of Wight.

Awesome, trip. The Osborn House should be a little longer tho. The beach trip was mostly a stop for lunch but enjoyable and pretty none the less. The last stop is a pretty little village.

I had such a wonderful day trip to the Isle of Wight! Everything was perfect, Steve, our guide, was very knowledgeable, nice, always making funny jokes and the driver too, always smiling and happy. I recommend this tour, if you like me wanted to just have a taste of what the Isle of Wight is like, solo, without the hassle of having to take multiple transfers or driving yourself, this is the perfect solution. The weather, I should point out, was also on our side, it was gorgeous. I met many lovely people too. So glad I did it. Will book again for sure.

I felt very comfortable and safe thanks to Cagla’s excellent and careful driving. The tour was very enjoyable for me. The weather was beautiful. Our driver, Ms. Çağla, and our tour guide were professional and well-prepared. The guide provided us with a lot of information and showed us some wonderful places. He explained every detail of the places we visited and had excellent knowledge about them. He also gave us extra detailed explanations on all the specifics. I would like to thank them for everything. This was my second trip with Anderson Tour. I had previously visited the Cotswolds with them and enjoyed it so much that I chose them again.
