Meeting point
Meet at the SE corner of 17th & Q NW, outside on the street in front of Trio Bistro. I'll be carrying a black backpack with an orange ribbon hanging from it.
Drink•Eat•Walk small group evening food & drink neighborhood walking tours explore beyond tourist Washington in to the streets & places we DC locals hang out in, so you can experience the true flavor of the city.
This local neighborhood Washington DC food tour dives into two of our city's most beloved areas — Dupont Circle's streets are filled with stately embassies, charming row homes, and fabulous people; Adams Morgan is DC's most eclectic neighborhood, bursting with sights, smells, and flavors from around the world.
We stop for eats & drinks in six different places, learning about the communities and culture that built and sustain DC in each one. In between, we'll walk the streets in a way that gives you a true feel for each neighborhood.
This tour is all about having a great group experience & solo travelers are definitely welcome. We'll get to know each other as we eat, drink, & learn our way into the night in this great city we locals call home.
Food tour DC like a local!

Take This Tour
This is possibly my favorite tour I have ever been on, and I have been on many throughout this country and others.
Tim is an amazing guide. He loves his city and it shows in his passion and storytelling throughout the time. A 4-hour tour flew by and became 5-hours withe not wanting it to end.
The history lessons are informative and Tim is able to answer any questions asked. It is a great way to learn about actual DC outside of the political areas.
The FOOD...OMG!! The stops and food choices wrapped in the local culture and everything was delicious!! He even accommodated a mocktail menu for my husband who doesn't drink. With the drinks included, this is an excellent value.
This tour is intimate and everyone really gets to know each other. I left this tour feeling as if I had a new friend. The culmination of rooftop views over the city at night was the perfect ending to a perfect evening.
If you take only one tour in Washington DC, do this one!

Awesome DC food tour!
We had a blast on this tour! There was a very well curated selection of restaurants, foods and drinks, all with a story behind their history. Tim was a great guide, and his love of DC was infectious! We left full and with a much better understanding of DC that we’ll take into future visits. We’ve done a lot of food tours, and this was one of our favorites - well worth the money!

Friendly guide providing interesting information
Great walk around DC to several locations for food and drinks while the guide regaled us with stories about the people, neighborhoods, architecture and food. Pleasant way to spend an evening and something great to do with your out of town guests or if you are local and want to try something new.

BOOK YOUR TOUR NOW!
Book your tour NOW, you won't regret it! We came during the great heat wave and it was HOT, but Tim was AWESOME! Neither of my kids like seafood and they both LOVED ALL the food and mocktails! The history and the personal stories added so much more to the tour than just facts! We booked 4 other tours and this was BY FAR the BEST one in DC! You will have a great time, just book it!
Operator response
Thank you so much for this AMAZING review! I’m especially glad to hear your kids enjoyed the tour. I’ve been thinking about lowering the minimum age for my tours, and you just convinced me I should. Those mocktails really are great! Anyway, it means a lot to me that my tour stood out amongst all the others you took in here in DC. Thanks for touring with me! -Tim

Food tour
Tim was a great guide & you could tell he put a lot of thought into the places we went to eat. He had a passion for the area we toured making it a fun, delicious, informative tour. He made it feel like we were having an evening out with friends! He even made sure our groups got home safely!

Like visiting a friend in their favorite place!

Great food and drink in DC
Super fun time exploring the city and enjoying local eats. Experienced some great local foods that we would not have found on our own or know how to order it. Our guide Tim was super nice and explained all the food and neighborhood areas. It was a great time had by all.
Operator response

Tourists and locals will love this delicious break from monuments and museums.
Having been on food tours all over the world, I can say that this one is truly unique and special. In addition to incredible food, Tim provides an interesting and informative history of the District of Columbia and its people. Unlike most of the other DC tours, this one takes you away from the mall to local neighborhoods and stories about our capital city's founding. It is a wonderful complement to and break from the typical Washington sightseeing of monuments and museums.
Tim is passionate about DC, and it shows. He is a great storyteller, and he introduced us to delicious and unique food that was expertly woven into his tale of DC.
Operator response
Thank you so much for the great review! I love showing people a side of DC beyond the monuments & museums, so I’m glad you enjoyed exploring the city’s neighborhoods, history, and food culture with me. Hearing that from someone who has taken food tours around the world means a lot, and I appreciate you highlighting the storytelling & local perspective. Thanks for touring with me! -Tim
