Everything was very punctual. The guide made an effort to stick to the schedule. On the way back they took us directly to the cruise ship.
For the most part, this tour was as expected. What they didn't tell us was that we would need to walk about 2 miles each way from the parking lot to Pisa and back. We had an older member in our group and it was a struggle in the heat (with no shade).
We’re sorry to hear about your experience. Our boarding and drop-off points are officially authorized by the local municipality to help protect the beauty of our UNESCO World Heritage heritage sites.
Excellent tour covering both towns. Walking tour of Lucca was very good and informative. Then drive and then drop off in Pisa.

The excursion was very good value. Alex the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, he was helpful and thoughtful throughout the trip. Lucca was very quaint and interesting. Pisa wss excellent we could have had more time there though to see the cathedral. Still a great day. Full marks to Alex and Nicola the driver.

Our tour guide was extemely organized and was able to wrangle about 50 of us (one in a mobility scooter) through a two stop excursion. She deserves a trophy for even managing that gracefully with the time allotted. We loved Lucca and thought it was the hidden treasure of our visit to Tuscany. She pointed out the highlights on the map on the bus before our arrival which was quite helpful. We followed her on the walking tour and she mostly took us from one point to the next in the order that she explained them on the map. Since she had explained it already we mostly just stopped for a photo and moved on. About halfway through the tour we bailed and struck out on our own which was just as fine. We didnt get a chance to do it, but next time hope to rent bikes to ride along the city walls, the whole area is a park with nice views of the foothills. Pisa tower was about as expected - busy and very, very HOT. Minimal shade to be found in the area. We climbed to the top which I felt was worthwhile as opposed to spending the whole stop taking cheeky photos - a free bathroom visit is also included with your ticket to climb the tower! The view from the top was nice, can see some farm lands and mountains in the distance. The ride back was unfortunately a lowlight - the bus was very hot and stuffy. If the AC worked at all we couldn't tell - we would have been better off with a few open windows.

Well organized took the shuttle to port Mattia was right there at the stop in green shirt, right to the bus Lucca was great easy walking tour to some of the highlights and a nice recommendation for lunch and climbing the tower at Pisa was a once in a lifetime for me well worth the time and effort answered any questions we had and we appreciated the free time Andrei was also a great driver and our treasures were safe in the bus during our tower climb, recommend spend the extra climb the tower and sign up for the walking tour thanks again Mattia and Andrei
Perfect tour for us as we needed transport to the places, however don’t want to sit through hours of guided tours. Ample free time which was great to explore on our own

Where do I complain and ask for money back? This was not a walking tour (which it is advertised to be). Mattias was a fine guide on the bus but he didn't walk us through and explain anything in Pisa or Lucca.
We are sorry that the tour did not fully meet your expectations. However, this is not a guided tour, as is clearly stated in the tour description. Information is provided on board the bus, and once in the city, the tour leader accompanies guests to the main points of interest. However, guests are not guided on site by a local guide.
We were under the understanding (maybe we misread the description) that we were on a “private” van for our family of 9. We didn’t realize that we were on large buses with lots of other people. We spent about 3 hours in Lucca and then only about 1.5 hours in Pisa. We had booked the Leaning Tower, Baptistery, Cemetary ticket, etc. at Pisa on our own not realizing that we literally had to run from one thing to the other in Pisa. We barely had any time in Pisa. You have to walk a long ways from where the bus drops you off in Pisa and back to the bus, which also took up a lot of time. The lady that organized us was very kind. The transportation was just not quite what we expected.
