I'm from Canada and staying in Liverpool a month. I've been widowed for six months now, and fun is hard to come by. But I had HOURS of fun yesterday on my Liverpool Wine Tour. I cannot say enough good things about Mikey. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and gives great hugs to sad women who need them. I smiled and laughed more than I've done in ages, and for short bursts of laughter or clinking of glasses, I could forget my pain. The wines at all four stops were delicious, as was the food the proprietors served with it. We walked around a part of town I'm quite familiar with, but I'd never been in any of the wine bars/restaurants we visited. It was just me and Mikey as several others had to cancel. I did not miss them. I felt totally at ease with Mikey and every server/owner was wonderful and kind to me. Tip: be prepared to walk about 3000-4000 steps, mostly on flat pavements. Good shoes are a must. If you've ever thought that Liverpool wasn't the place for excellent wine bars, think again, and book with this company. They're fantastic. Kim from Canada

We had the best time on the wine tour yesterday with Mikey! 🍷 He was absolutely fantastic! so knowledgeable, friendly and clearly passionate about Liverpool. Mikey took us to some amazing hidden gems that we would never have found ourselves, and what really stood out was how he knew all the names of the staff and history behind every place we visited. He made the whole experience feel really personal and interesting. My Wife booked us the wine tasting tour with food for my birthday as a surprise. 4 amazing venues and 3 of them completely new to us. I cannot recommend this tour or company enough, Gareth took my parter and I on the walking wine tour in Liverpool and it was SUCH a special day. We are from Liverpool but wanted to have a fun new experience and find some new spots to go out. Not only did we learn so much interesting history around our city, we had a lot of fun with our guide and were introduced to some really amazing spots. One of which had only been open for 3 weeks! The organisers very clearly have their finger on the pulse. The wine selection throughout was hugely varied, really special, and not at all stingy, this included natural wines and a lightly sparkling red, all really fun to try. I would love to give the individual places we visited a shout out as they really were amazing, but don’t want to ruin the surprise for those who take the tour! Safe to say though that we definitely have new favourite haunts, as after the tour ended we went straight back to one of them for more. We will definitely be back again for either a tour elsewhere, or to bring other people with us next time. Gareth really was incredible, it was so lovely getting to know him, he was very personable and kept the whole day full of laughter and fun facts. Thank you so much for giving my partner a birthday to remember!

We attended our wine tour with Mikey last Friday and had a brilliant time. We visited four great venues A Tavola, Bunch, Queens and Trattoria 51. At each venue we had some amazing wines (5 bottles in total), accompanied by some great nibbles, garlic bread, cheeses, bread and balsamic, olives, pork cheek Bon Bon and pork belly bites. Mikey was so easy to get on with, really entertaining and so knowledgeable about wines, wine producing regions, grapes and wine tasting.
