Nice trip into Wales

Nice drive to Conwy Castle. Entry into the castle was not included but reasonable price. The castle was amazing. The stop at Betws-y-coed in Wales was lovely.

Absolutely fabulous day...

Absolutely fabulous day trip! We were so thrilled to have found this tour. Vincent was a fabulous tour guide and our bus driver Chris was top notch as well. We learned so much about the region and marveled at the natural beauty of Northern Wales. I wish the tour had been longer. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Liverpool area. 10/10.

Worthwhile

Enjoyed the scenery of N. Wales. Hayfields, corn, wheat, sheep. Where were the border collies? Limestone outcroppings the rolling hills were very pleasant. Tour guide had a great knowledge of the history past and present. Answered numerous questions on subjects past and present. The coach was very clean and comfortable. Driver did an excellent job as was expected.

Good value, but does not include visiting castle

David, the tour guide was very friendly, the motor coach was very comfortable and the drive and itinerary were nice. The only disappointing fact is that the listing states it includes a visit to Conway Castle but all they do is drop you outside. If you want to actually visit the castle, you have to pay a separate admission fee, I wish that had been communicated more clearly. However, the tour is still a great value.

Not worth it. It was a long bus ride with the guide droning on the entire ride up.

Honestly, skip this tour unless you like long, boring bus rides where the guide drones on and on. He did not have an engaging or charismatic voice or way of story telling so all it did was put our group to sleep. We had a stop in a little touristy stop in snowdonia and then a stop in Conwy. This tour does not include tickets to the Conwy castle which was disappointing so again, we were in a touristy town. That was it. Then we got back on the bus and headed back to Liverpool. There's probably better tours out there so I'd definitely skip this one. It was not worth the time or money spent.

Give this one a pass.

Poor communication. The provider had confirmed the booking through Viator, then No Showed. After frantically messaging them through Viator while spending 50 minutes looking for their driver or bus, we inally had to go through Viator to get a response and a refund. Lost the opportunity to visit Wales, as we were in port one day.

Operator response

Good Morning Tyson We emailed to advise that the tour was not operating, and unfortunately you were unable to access your mail. As soon as you made contact with us on the day, I believe we suggested alternatives, and the process to obtain a 100% refund. Very rarely, due to operational reasons a tour is cancelled but we do advise gusts prior to travel

Great tour, but not enough time in Conwy

Overall, this was a great day trip. The bus was comfortable, and both the tour guide and driver were excellent. My only disappointment was the stop in Conwy. The itinerary showed a 2-hour stop, but we only had about 45 minutes, which felt far too short. I would have loved more time to explore Conwy Castle and the nearby shops instead of rushing through everything.

Operator response

Hi , Many thanks for your comments. with a shared group tour we always try to find a balance of time and locations to visit.

Driver did not show up.

Driver did not show up. We were on a cruise ship and when we went to the meeting site the driver was not there. We called and found out the tour was canceled. This last minute cancellation prevented us from booking another tour.
